Footprint drops a trail of breadcrumb dots on your World Map as you move, so you can retrace your route, spot the ground you haven't covered, and never lose track of where you came from.
Features
- Live trail on the World Map. Dots appear as you travel and fade out over time.
- Your choice of duration. Keep dots for anywhere from a few seconds up to "until login."
- Two dot styles. Round dots or slashes.
- Built to sit on top of other map addons. The trail draws above heat-map overlays like MobLevels and stays readable against them.
- Light on resources. Dots are spaced by real-world distance, so the trail looks the same in a tiny zone or a huge one.
- Native settings panel. Interface > AddOns > Footprint.
Commands
- /footprint toggles the trail on and off
- /footprint clear clears the current trail
- /footprint options opens settings
Notes
- The trail is World Map only. It isn't drawn on the minimap.
- The trail lives in memory and resets when you log in.
