# FlightETA

Know how long a flight takes before you take it, and see how long is left while you're in the air.

## What it does

**Flight time on the map.** Hover any destination at a flight master and the tooltip shows how long the flight takes.

- **White time:** you've flown this route yourself, so it's your measured time.
- **Grey time:** an estimate from the built-in flight time table.
- Routes with stops are added up leg by leg.
- "Unknown" means there's no data yet. FlightETA times the flight and remembers it.

**A slim countdown bar.** When you take off, a thin bar appears under your player portrait with the destination and the time left. It's meant to stay out of the way:

- It fades in on takeoff and fades out a couple of seconds after you land.
- It turns green in the last 10 seconds and amber (`+0:05`) if the flight runs long.
- On a route it doesn't know yet, it counts up in grey while it learns.
- It keeps counting after a `/reload` or disconnect mid-flight.

**It learns as you fly.** Every completed flight saves your real time, which replaces the estimate. Learned times are shared across all your characters on the account.

## Moving and resizing the bar

- **Shift+drag** the bar during any flight to move it.
- `/feta unlock` shows the bar outside a flight. Drag it to move it, and pull the corner grip to make it wider, narrower, taller or shorter. The icon and text scale with it. Type `/feta lock` when you're done.

## Commands

| `/feta lock` | Lock it in place |
| `/feta reset` | Default size, back under the player portrait |
| `/feta forget` | Clear all learned flight times |
| `/feta` | Show how many routes you've learned |

## Privacy

FlightETA doesn't send anything to anyone. Your flight times stay in your own SavedVariables.
