Fishing Tournament Tracker

Fish Tracker is a feature-rich WoW Classic Era addon designed for Guild Masters, Raid Leaders, and Event Organizers to host and manage seamless, real-time fishing tournaments.

No more manually parsing chat logs or guessing who caught what. Fish Tracker automatically monitors your raid or party loot logs, captures every catch, and applies customizable score-based rules retroactively as your event unfolds!

Key Features:

• Real-Time Leaderboard: Tracks and sorts players instantly based on tournament points with smooth scrolling for large raid groups. Top 3 spots feature gold, silver, and bronze rank color highlights.
• 5 Dynamic Categories: Fully customizable point values for Common, Uncommon, Rare, Misc (trash/chests), and Ultra Rare catches.
• On-The-Fly Classification: Unassigned catches appear in the scrollable "Caught Items" pane. Click any item to cycle its category—all players' scores retroactively recalculate instantly!
• Integrated Tournament Timer: Built-in countdown timer with Start, Pause, and Reset controls on Page 2. Auto-stops loot recording when the time runs out.

  • {leader} – Displays current 1st place player and their score (e.g., Player (150 pts)).
• Auto-Warn Threshold: Automatically sends a check-in reminder to chat when a configured number of minutes remains on the timer.
• Flexible Broadcast Channels: Send standings and announcements directly to Raid, Party, Guild, Say, or Auto (automatically detects group type).

In-Game Slash Commands:

• /ft or /fishtracker — Toggle the Fishing Tournament Tracker window open or closed.

🎮 How to Use:

1. Type /ft to open the tracker interface.

2. Go to Page 2 (Options >) to set your tournament Duration (Mins), target Broadcast Channel, and customize your announcement messages.

3. Click Start Timer (or Start on Page 1) to begin tracking loot across your group.

4. As items are caught, they appear in the bottom pane as [Unassigned]. Click each item button to assign its category (Common, Uncommon, etc.)—scores will automatically recalculate and populate the Leaderboard!

5. Use the Broadcast button on Page 1 or the Announce buttons on Page 2 to send live standings updates directly to chat.
