• All loot was recorded as fishing catches. On Retail the profession tool slot is always occupied, so the 1.26.9 pole detection made "pole equipped" constantly true, and the loot gate fell back to it. Loot now only counts as fish when the fishing channel itself ran within the last few seconds — looting the bobber always ends the channel, so real catches land inside that window and mob/chest loot cannot. Same fix for LibFishing's caught-so-far counter.
• Cast tracking compared channel events against the wrong spell id (profession id 131490 instead of the castable Fishing spell 131474), which broke catch recording once the loot gate relied on cast timing. Handlers accept both ids now, with a fishing-mode safety net.
• Fish Watcher "only while fishing" mode: casting Fishing (action bar or easy cast) now starts fishing mode, so the watcher appears while actually fishing and hides after the idle timeout; removing the pole stops fishing mode immediately.
• Fishing-pet fluff stole the cast: summoning a battle pet ran synchronously inside the easy-cast click, so the first double-click summoned a pet instead of casting. The summon is now deferred to a quiet moment between casts, the option respects the Fishing Fluff master toggle, and the end-of-fishing pet restore no longer toggle-dismisses the player's own pet.
• Fishing mode no longer auto-starts at login with "partial gear" enabled.
• UNIT_SPELLCAST channel events are filtered to the player.
