Find It Fast

FindItFast lets you search your entire inventory across all characters and storage types from a single floating search box. Type any part of an item name and instantly see information about it.

A Category Browser allows you to browse item categories and types to see information about items you have in those categories.

Getting started

On each character, open the following once to let the addon scan them:

• Bags and equipped gear: Scanned automatically when you log in, no action needed.
• Bank: Talk to any banker.
• Guild bank: Talk to a guild banker (all tabs are scanned automatically in the background).
• Mailbox: Open any mailbox.
• Void storage: Talk to a Void Storage NPC.

Once a character has been scanned, its data is saved permanently and visible from any of your other characters. You only need to open each storage type again if its contents have changed since the last scan.

Usage

Type /fif or /invsearch to open the search box. Start typing an item name and results appear instantly, sorted by total count. Hover over any result to see the full item tooltip and a breakdown of which characters have it and where.
