Factoruide Guide

A leveling guide computed for your character, not written once for everyone. For WoW Forever, Classic Era / Hardcore and TBC Anniversary.

The Factoruide app simulates the whole climb with your choices: travel, fights, drops, quest and mob XP, trainers, professions, and how strong your character gets with its gear and spells. It then searches for the fastest route to your target level. This addon takes you through that route in game, step by step.

Requires Factoruide Profile (installed with it). The guides are made in the Factoruide app (desktop, or https://factoruide.brouznouf.com): https://github.com/brouznouf/factoruide

How it works

1. Make a guide in the app: race, class, professions, zones, dungeons, pace and risk. Start at level 1 or from your character by exporting it (take into account quests done, position, gear, etc ...).
2. Bring it into the game:
   • Desktop app: automatically sync guide into the game.
   • Web app: copy the guide's text, then import in the game using /fg and click Import a guide….
3. Play: The guide follows the character it was made for and advances by itself: quest accepted, objective done, quest turned in.

In game

The guide shows the current step and the next ones, and advances by itself as you play. Everything is set in the game's options: type /fg, or open AddOns → Factoruide.

Features

Each feature can be turned on or off in the options, so the addon does only what you want.

• A full mode with everything you need at a glance, or a minimal mode that shows only what matters right now.
• Never wonder where to go: a compass always points to your next step and shows you the way.
• No more clicking through quest dialogs: quests are accepted and turned in for you.
• Less time spent on chores: flights, trainers, selling and repairs are handled for you.
• Always know what is left to do, with your quests listed in the order you will do them.
• Know which gear to wear and which talent to learn.
• Stay safe: you are warned about dangerous mobs and low health.
• See whether you are ahead of or behind the guide's pace.
• Keep your hands on the keyboard: every usual action can be bound to a key.
• On WoW Forever, works with Shortest Path Forever, and your guides can also be followed in Polestar.

Good to know

Factoruide is experimental: the guides come from a simulation of the game, so a step can sometimes be wrong. If you find one, tell us at https://github.com/brouznouf/factoruide/issues.
