What's new

ExplainTheFight 1.0.1

Fixed

  • Fixed a Lua error caused by protected unit GUID/name values during target, mouseover, and nameplate detection.
  • Hardened boss detection so protected unit data is skipped safely instead of creating script errors in combat.
  • Fixed dungeon and raid boss unit detection so targeting, mousing over, or seeing a known boss nameplate can switch the guide before the pull.
  • Added Ikuzz the Light Hunter's NPC ID and more forgiving current-instance matching so targeting Ikuzz can switch the guide before combat starts.
  • Added delayed target/nameplate retries and broader in-instance boss switching so selected dungeon bosses can update the guide before combat.
  • Added Vordaza's NPC ID and /etf target diagnostics for checking the current target match.
  • Disabled direct chat sending while WoW combat restrictions are active, preventing the Blizzard addon-blocked popup and guiding players to Select Text instead.
  • Shortened combat/copy status text so instructions fit cleanly in the compact pocket guide window.
  • Reworked broad placeholder-style guide text for 21 Midnight and Season 1 dungeon bosses using current Wowhead dungeon journal references.
  • Updated Taz'Rah guidance to cover Dark Rift, Astral Recall, Gather Shadows, Ethereal Shades, Nether Dash, and Cosmic Spike.
  • Updated Voidscar Arena, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, Maisara Caverns, Magisters' Terrace, Nexus-Point Xenas, and Commander Kroluk entries with more accurate mechanics.

Changed

  • Added Wowhead source metadata for the updated dungeon pages so source tooltips better reflect the reviewed references.
  • Kept all revised chat summaries within WoW's 255-byte chat limit.
