EventQuest Forever

Create and play full RP adventures on WoW Forever: quests, 3D NPCs, cinematics, turn-based combat and a full RP profile, no game master needed.

EventQuest Forever

The all-in-one roleplay addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. A full RP profile that works just like Total RP 3, complete adventures you create and share (quests, talking 3D NPCs, cinematics, turn-based combat), and everything you need to roleplay together: RP tables, events, letters, duels, crafting. A creator builds the adventure, players live it whenever they want, no game master needed.

The addon interface is in French. Version française complète plus bas.

1. A full RP profile, just like Total RP 3

If you know Total RP 3, you will feel at home: same tabs, same tools, same way of reading other players, in a single tabbed window with the parchment and wood look you know.

Characteristics

  • Names and titles: title, first name, last name, full title, character icon (searchable picker with every game icon).
  • Registry: race, class with its own color, age, eye color with its own color, height, build, relationship status (single, in a relationship, married, divorced, widowed).
  • Residence and birthplace: one click saves your current position; other EventQuest players can show it on their world map.
  • Additional information: motto, house, nickname, pronouns, guild name, guild rank, voice reference, piercings, tattoos, facial features, plus your own custom fields (name, icon, value). Pronouns, guild and voice are also shown in your tooltip.
  • Personality traits with sliders: the same presets (Chaotic / Lawful, Forgiving / Vindictive, Altruistic / Selfish, Truthful / Deceitful, Gentle / Brutal, Superstitious / Rational, Renegade / Paragon, Cautious / Impulsive, Ascetic / Bon vivant, Valorous / Spineless) and custom traits with your own names, icons and colors. Reorder them freely.

About

  • Character music theme that readers can play.
  • Background chosen among dozens of game textures.
  • Template 1 (free text, now with pages readers can turn), Template 2 (a list of frames, each with its icon and background), Template 3 (physical description, personality, history).
  • Layout tools: titles H1 / H2 / H3, paragraphs (left, centered, right), game images, inline icons, colored text, links.

Misc

  • 5 at-first-glance slots (icon, title, text), shown under the target frame and in the tooltip.
  • Status: in character / out of character, open to walk-ups, roleplay experience (beginner, casual, veteran, guide), Currently, out-of-character information.
  • Roleplay style: accepts injuries, death, romance, criminal activity, loss of control, guild membership in or out of character.
  • Notes: private notes per character and per account, on yourself and on anyone you meet.

Seeing other players

  • Target bar above the target frame (movable, position saved): view profile, relationship (none, hostile, neutral, business, friendly, love, family), character inspection (3D model and their EventQuest gear), open trade, ignore, notes, report a profile. Their glances right below.
  • RP tooltip: icon and colored RP name, title, race and class, in or out of character, experience, Currently, pronouns and guild, glances, your relationship and a note icon.
  • Right-click any player: view their RP profile. RP names in color in the chat, and quoted speech highlighted in emotes.
  • Compatible with Total RP 3, MyRolePlay and XRP (Mary Sue Protocol): you see their profiles, they see yours. If one of them is installed, EventQuest steps aside automatically: no duplicate bar, tooltip or profile.

2. Play adventures

  • My adventure hub: your progress, your path through the chapters, the current quest with its giver portrait and objectives, your RP profile band, letters, announcements, memories.
  • Quest log in its own window, WoW style: story, objectives, progress, finished quests to reread. "Go there" places a waypoint on your map.
  • Adventure tracker on screen, like the WoW objective tracker: current quests, next step, health and resource.
  • In-world quests: go to a place, talk to a character, find items, fight. Markers appear where the creator placed them; contextual discovery cards ("Talk", "Examine", "Face", "Explore").
  • Cinematic dialogues with talking 3D NPCs, narrative choices that change the story, adventure variables that remember what you did.
  • Prologues: real short cinematics opening an adventure.
  • Solo, group or game-master adventures: in group mode progress is shared (quests, items, fights).
  • Campaign notebook: story, encounters, discoveries, decisions, memories of your RP tables, your own notes.

3. Turn-based combat

  • Combat with a d100 die, chances shown on a dial (hit, critical, miss), health and resource, enemy intentions shown on their card, a "Hint" button.
  • The 9 Forever classes (Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Druid), free role (tank, healer, damage), specializations. 10 spells per class, all real Forever spells from the talent trees, with their original effects and sounds.
  • Character sheet with 15 points to spread across characteristics, spell loadout, recommended builds; custom classes with their own name, color and techniques.
  • Fights against several monsters with a threat bar, solo, in a group or in a raid; combat story told as it happens; health and resource regeneration like in WoW.
  • Duels between players (1v1, 2v2...), training against the addon, knockout tournaments, and replays of your fights and duels.

4. Roleplay together (RP life)

  • RP tables, open or private, with no preparation: make an NPC speak, narrate, roll dice; nearby players see it. Invite with a right-click, no need to be grouped.
  • Free or storyteller mode: everyone equal, or a storyteller leads. Table proposals and votes (consequence, mood, turn order, timer).
  • Narrative tools: chapter titles in large letters, place descriptions, "Previously...", sound effects, playing an NPC with face and name, showing documents (parchment, letter, poster), asides, languages, character states (wounded, drunk...).
  • Animated dice, inspiration points kept between evenings (reroll, hold on, intuition, plot twist), a memory of each evening.
  • Game master tools: make your library NPCs speak, ask for rolls with a difficulty, play a prologue for everyone, run a quest live for the table.
  • Around me: what happens at an open table nearby shows up at the edge of your screen; spectators can watch, react and ask to join; your table poster with tags ("Beginners welcome"), a quill next to players who are playing, open tables on the minimap.
  • Posters nailed in the world: wanted notices or rumors that passers-by can read for 7 days, even when you are offline.
  • Map scan: find EventQuest players on the map, shown as fixed-size dots colored by what they are doing (resting, wild RP, RP table, event). Refresh every few seconds to see them move.
  • RP letters with signature and seal (delivered when you are both online), guild and group announcement boards, a guild RP evening calendar with sign-up and a reminder 15 minutes before.

5. Items, bag and crafting

  • Backpack (expandable) and 18 equipment slots: gear with bonuses, potions, quest items, materials. Give an item to your target (they accept or decline).
  • RP crafting: one profession per character, design your own items (name, icon, slot, what it improves, its flaw), materials and dice decide its rarity, craft in RP steps (emote and roll, seen by players around) or in one click, for yourself or for someone else.

6. Create your own adventures (the Workshop)

  • Step-by-step wizards for everything, and templates (Investigation, Escort, Hunt, Siege) that create three linked quests with characters and enemies ready.
  • Quest editor: quest chains, prerequisites, givers and turn-ins, steps (talk, go to a place, find items, fight), rewards, bubble quest map.
  • Characters: appearance from a library of over 15,000 Forever models (Skyborne included), friend or foe, lines, health, damage and spells; a full monster editor.
  • Item editor, narrative choices, adventure variables, solo / group / game-master type.
  • Place in the world: stand on the spot, right-click "Place here", a marker appears for players.
  • Cinematic studio: shots and cameras, over 19,000 in-game decor models, music and sounds, write your scene like a screenplay, ready-made shots (shot/reverse shot, arrival, reveal, duel), reusable sets, top-down director view.
  • Check and test: the checker finds mistakes (broken links, unreachable quests, text to replace), every fight is simulated with typical heroes to show win chances and balance tips, try a quest without placing it, play your adventure in test mode, automatic backups.
  • Share: send in game to your target or group, by code or by file; optionally lock your adventure so others can play but not edit or reshare it.

7. Made for Forever

Every library (spells, effects, NPCs, decor, music, icons) was rebuilt from the Forever 1.60.1 game data. Class spells come from the Forever talent trees only. An in-game guide with step-by-step tutorials and a quick tour explains everything; the EventQuest medallion gives access to all of it.

EventQuest is free and will stay free.

Beta: this is a first test version for Forever. Your feedback (bugs, ideas) is welcome in the comments.

EventQuest is not affiliated with Total RP 3. The parchment and wood textures of the RP profile come from Total RP 3 (Apache 2.0 license, see Textures/RP/NOTICE.txt).

5. Objets, sac et artisanat
