Description

Brings Blizzard's Equipment Manager — the gear-set save/swap UI from WotLK classic — to Classic Era and Anniversary (TBC). The core functions exist in code, but were never used, this addon is just the missing UI, built to look and behave like Blizzard's original.

Features

  • Create, save, rename, re-icon, equip, and delete equipment sets from a dialog on the character panel — same look as Blizzard's own Wrath-era Equipment Manager.
  • Ignore specific slots so they're skipped when swapping to a set (e.g. keep your current tabard no matter which set you equip).
  • Item flyout on every equipped slot: pop up a list of candidate items from your bags for that slot, equip/unequip with a click, or ignore/unignore the slot right there.
  • Hover flyout: hold a modifier key (Shift / Ctrl / Alt — configurable, default Alt) while hovering any slot to instantly see item candidates and swap on unequip items, no need to even open the Equipment Manager window.
  • Spec-linked sets (TBC Anniversary, or where dual specs exist): right-click a set to assign it to a talent spec — switching specs automatically re-equips the linked set.
  • Settings panel under Esc → Options → AddOns → Equipment Manager Port.
  • Item tooltips automatically show which equipment set(s) an item belongs to, once real sets exist.

Compatibility

  • Classic Era
  • Anniversary (TBC Classic)

Notes

  • No dependencies, no external libraries.
  • Most UI text reuses Blizzard's own already-localized GlobalStrings (free, correct in any client language). This addon's own handful of unique strings are translated for ruRU, deDE, and zhCN (the German and Chinese text are machine-assisted drafts, not verified by a native speaker — corrections welcome).
