Description
EnhanceTwister
EnhanceTwister is a focused, lightweight HUD for Shamans on WoW Classic that solves the class's hardest moment-to-moment problem: keeping Windfury Totem twisted and your earth/air totems honest without a spreadsheet in your head. Instead of a generic buff bar, it tells you the one thing you actually need to know right now — act, or you're about to lose uptime.
It detects your spec at login and shows the right layout automatically. You don't configure anything to get started — log in and play.
Enhancement — a clean priority readout
For Enhancement, EnhanceTwister surfaces your rotation and totem upkeep as priority bars so you can keep your eyes on the fight:
- Stormstrike and shock priority bars with cooldown timing, so you fire shocks in the right order and never sit on a ready Stormstrike.
- Fire totem / Fire Nova and air-twist tracking for totem uptime.
- Alert icons for a missing weapon enchant (Windfury Weapon), a dropped totem, and resource/utility reminders — so you notice a fallen-off mainhand enchant immediately instead of three packs later.
- A priority highlight that pulses the single most important thing to press next.
Restoration — heal without dropping your Windfury twist
Resto Shamans twist Windfury Totem for the group while still spam-healing, and the constant question is "can I sneak this cast in and still re-drop Windfury before the buff falls off?" EnhanceTwister answers it for you, live:
Windfury twist clock — a bar that counts down the exact time left before you must re-drop Windfury to keep the buff up. No more guessing or watching totem timers in the corner of your screen.
Heal fit-icons (Lesser Healing Wave, Chain Heal, Healing Wave) with three at-a-glance states:
- Bright — go ahead, you can complete this heal and still re-drop Windfury in time.
- Greyed out — while you're casting, this means "after your current cast, there won't be time for this heal and the re-drop — plan to drop Windfury instead." Because longer heals grey out first, you can see, mid-cast, that a Lesser Healing Wave still fits but a Chain Heal no longer does.
- Red — there's no time to cast it and re-drop at all; drop Windfury now.
Example: you start a 2.5s Chain Heal with 3 seconds left on Windfury — the Chain Heal icon greys the instant you begin casting, telling you your next action is the totem, not another heal. The icons are locked in at cast start so they never flicker mid-cast and mislead you.
Nature's Swiftness aware — when NS is up, your next heal is treated as instant, so the icons correctly stay bright instead of falsely warning you off.
Strength of Earth bar — shows the totem's remaining duration and turns green when your whole group (in range) has the buff, yellow with a count of how many are missing it, and red when the totem is down. You instantly know whether to re-drop or move the totem, instead of eyeballing party frames.
The result: you heal more aggressively and keep Windfury at near-100% uptime, because the addon removes the mental math and surfaces the exact moment to swap.
