Description

This project replaces the original complex text, which contains archaic language and anachronisms, with a linguist-adapted version and provides professional narration.
This text is perfectly suited for users with an A1 (Beginner) level of English. The material is presented in the form of dialogues, allowing learners to develop their communication skills from the very beginning.
It can be easily recommended to children or adult beginners who are learning English and want to practice reading and listening simple texts. The easiest input is on the Alliance side from level 1 to level 30.
Primitive Grammar: The text avoids complex tenses and passive voice. Present Simple for current events, and Past Simple for short backstories.
Short Sentences: Character thoughts are expressed in short sentences where the subject and predicate are easy to identify.
High Repetition: The constant reuse of the same verbs and sentence structures from quest to quest makes it an excellent, frustration-free reading material (graded reading) that helps beginners memorize words quickly.
After passing through the portal to Outland, the language gradually becomes more advanced, reaching a solid B1 level (Intermediate) by the end of Northrend.
The entire database contains about as much text as a 400-page book. Naturally, telling the story from both factions' perspectives would result in a substantial two-volume work.
It also opens the world of Azeroth to people who do not speak any of the game's official languages — English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Russian and Chinese — while helping them learn English at the same time. This represents an estimated 3.5 billion people worldwide.
