Elven Tongue

Elven Tongue is a quality-of-life and roleplay-friendly addon that eliminates the language barrier between races in World of Warcraft.

When you speak in Say or Yell, WoW normally scrambles your words for players of other races using their racial language system. Elven Tongue intercepts your outgoing messages and automatically converts them to Common or Orcish, while prepending a [Language] prefix so other players can still see which language you were intending to speak — without losing the ability to read the actual text.

Example: A Gnome selecting Gnomish will send their message as Common, but with a [Gnomish] prefix so the context is preserved for everyone.

Usage:

1. Install the addon and log in.
2. Optionally toggle the language selector button in the settings panel.
3. Select your desired language from the on-screen button or the LDB broker icon.
4. Type in Say or Yell as normal.

Credits: This Addon is based on GnomTEC_Babel which doesn't receive Updates anymore.
