Lightweight raider companion for groups run with the Eden raid-leader addon: it applies the leader's loot auto-pass setting and reports your character, gear and raid lockouts.

Description

Eden Client is the raider side of Eden, a raid management addon. It has no window and nothing to configure. Install it, join the raid, and it works with the leader's copy of Eden.

It only does something when your group leader or an assistant runs full Eden. In any other group it has no effect.

What it does

• Loot auto-pass. During an active Eden run, the group leader can turn your loot opt-out on or off, for the whole raid or for you alone. Players the leader marks as buyers are never set to pass. Every change is printed in your chat. Auto-pass switches off when the run ends, when you leave the group, and when you log in without a group.
• Character report. Sends your class, spec, item level and addon version so the leader can recognise you.
• Gear report. Sends your equipped item links, item levels and socket counts so the leader can check enchants and gems without inspecting every raider. The leader's addon does the grading; the client only reports facts.
• Raid lockouts. Shares your saves for the current season's raids, so the leader sees who is locked before the pull.
• Raid-entry warning. Shows a small movable popup when you enter a raid on a difficulty you are already saved to. It stays hidden in combat.

Good to know

• Reports travel over the group's addon channel, so other addons in your group could read them. They contain nothing beyond what inspecting you shows, plus your raid lockouts.
• No website access, no login, no account data.
• Do not enable it together with full Eden. If both are installed, Eden Client turns itself off.

Commands

• /edenclient shows the current run and whether auto-pass is on.
• /edenclient report sends a test report and tells you whether the leader received it.
