What's new
EasyGuildInvite 0.3.5 MoP Classic
- Promoted the direct protected
/whoimplementation from beta to a normal release after live MoP Classic feedback confirmed that the previous "Searching" hang was resolved. - EasyGuildInvite sends exactly one direct
C_FriendList.SendWho()request from each real Search/Continue click instead of routing protected searches through LibWho's deferred queue. WHO_LIST_UPDATEonly reads and processes returned results. It never starts another/whorequest automatically.- A five-second minimum interval protects against Blizzard
/whothrottling. Clicking Continue too early reports the remaining wait time instead of leaving the UI stuck on Searching. - A 22-second watchdog offers one manual retry for a dropped request; a second timeout is skipped and the scan is marked partial instead of hanging indefinitely.
- Dense-realm coverage detects capped result pages, splits ranges by level, and narrows single-level capped pages by classes available to the MoP race.
- A bounded 128-query budget prevents pathological dense brackets from expanding indefinitely.
- Searches use the current faction's MoP races, including Goblin, Worgen and faction Pandaren. Race/class names are taken from the client where available so localized clients issue valid
/whofilters. - Only players with explicitly empty guild metadata are accepted. Unknown guild data is rejected rather than risking invitations to guilded players.
/egiscanstatsreports players checked, guildless players, eligible candidates, newly added candidates, queries and retries.- Includes configurable Search/Continue and Invite Next hotkeys with conflict detection, modifier support, combat-safe binding changes and native WoW binding persistence.
- Includes optional movable Search/Continue and Invite Next floating buttons. The Search button shows the
/whothrottle countdown; Invite Next attempts at most one eligible player per physical click and prefers never-invited candidates. /egihotkeysopens the Hotkeys settings panel. Search and hotkey UI strings are localized across the supported WoW client locales./egidiagverifies theC_FriendList-direct-hardware-boundedbackend and the direct MoP/whoAPIs.- Keeps all 0.3.4 minimap, localization, guild-invite, welcome-message and MoP Classic 5.5.4 compatibility fixes.
This is the stable promotion of the 0.3.5 MoP Classic beta after successful live-user confirmation.
EasyGuildInvite 0.3.4 MoP Classic
- Promoted the MoP Classic build to a normal release after live beta feedback confirmed that the repaired minimap icon appears and guild invitations work again.
- Completed user-interface localization coverage for all current World of Warcraft client locales: English, German, French, Spanish (EU and Latin America), Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
- Fixed legacy settings and management windows that could still display hard-coded German or English text on non-German clients.
- Added localized strings for the settings window, search UI, whisper configuration, welcome configuration, guild member tools, group-invite triggers, raid tools, dialogs, status labels, and common error messages.
- Kept localization runtime-safe: only EasyGuildInvite-owned UI is translated. Blizzard tooltips, protected/secret values, chat frames, and user-editable message fields are not inspected or rewritten.
- Added diagnostics coverage for all 11 WoW client locale codes and the legacy UI localization runtime.
- Retains the 0.3.3 minimap hardening: idempotent LibDataBroker/LibDBIcon registration, initialization after add-on load, recheck on entering the world, and an independent draggable Classic-safe fallback button.
- Retains dedicated Mists of Pandaria Classic 5.5.4 / Interface 50504 support, level 90 validation, Pandaren support, Monk recognition, safe guild APIs, assisted protected search, invitation queue throttling, cooldowns, and welcome messages.
- Release packaging and CurseForge deployment validation now require the complete MoP localization files and validate every packaged Lua file with Lua 5.1 before upload.
This is the stable follow-up to the 0.3.3 MoP Classic beta.
