Changes for 1.3.0

New

• Buffs (beta): a new options section with four checkboxes, all off by default, so you choose what you want:
  • Food & drink: "Restores 58 health over 18 sec. Must remain seated while eating. If you spend at least 10 sec eating, you will become well fed and gain 1 Strength for 15 min. Additionally, experience gained from kills is increased by 5%." becomes 58 health over 18 sec and Well Fed: +1 Strength, +5% XP (15 min)
  • Elixirs: "Increases Agility by 8 for 1 hour." becomes +8 Agility (1 hour), including spell damage, fire power, maximum health and health/mana regeneration elixirs
  • Scrolls: "Increases the target's Stamina by 4 for 30 min." becomes +4 Stamina (30 min)
  • Buff bar: hovering an active buff shortens its effect, e.g. Well Fed shows +1 Strength, +5% XP
• German and French clients are supported for all buff options too.

Changed

• More item tooltips are shortened: auction house, merchant, loot, quest rewards, mail and trade windows.
• /egs unknown now also lists unrecognised "Use:" lines while a buff option is on, so missing food, elixirs and scrolls are easy to report.

Languages (beta)

• Buff texts are new, so some items may still show their long text, especially in German and French. If you find one, please post the item name (or a screenshot of the tooltip) in the comments and I'll add it in the next update.

Changes for 1.2.0

New

• Classic Era support (1.15.9): the addon detects the game automatically. Classic Era's "with all spells and attacks" hit and crit lines are shortened to +1% Hit / +1% Critical Chance. WoW Forever-only stats and the Haste option are left out there.
• Burning Crusade Anniversary (2.5.6): the addon loads there too. Lines with the same wording as Classic are shortened; rating stats (e.g. "hit rating") are not supported yet.(beta)
• Maximum energy: new checkbox. "Increases your maximum Energy by 10" becomes +10 Maximum Energy.
• /egs unknown lists every Equip and enchant line the addon doesn't recognise in chat (once per line).

Changed

• The code is split into modules, with all tooltip texts in language files, so more client languages can be added easily.
• On a client language that isn't supported yet, the addon changes nothing and says so once in chat.

Languages (beta)

• German and French clients are now supported, in addition to English.
• Covered: spell damage and healing, school damage, crit, hit, attack power (also against creature types), ranged attack power, mana and health per 5 sec, defense, dodge, parry, block, shield block value, spell penetration, enchants and the "If you replace this item" summary. French also covers weapon skills.
• Language support is in beta, so some lines may still show their long text. If you find one, please post the item name (or a screenshot of the tooltip) in the comments and I'll add it in the next update. /egs unknown helps you find these lines.
