  item level from tooltip instead of relying on GetDetailedItemLevelInfo.
- Empty equipment slots now count as upgradeable — any equippable item for
  an empty slot shows the green arrow indicator.
- Excluded INVTYPE_PROFESSION_TOOL from gear upgrade checks (profession
  tools are not player gear).
