Description

Dynamic Cursor

A cursor-anchored HUD that shows your procs, buffs, and cooldowns right at your mouse pointer — so your eyes never have to leave the action to check your bars.

Features

Class/spec-aware cursor icon — changes automatically based on your class and spec. On Discipline Priest, the cursor itself shows Power Word: Shield with a live cooldown swipe, and swaps to Void Shield automatically when that talent procs.

Three tracker display modes, so every ability shows up the way that makes sense for it:

  • Always Visible — icon stays on screen permanently, desaturates and shows a cooldown swipe while on cooldown (great for rotation spells)
  • Show When Ready — icon appears only when the spell is off cooldown and castable (great for cooldown "windows" like trinkets or offensive cooldowns)
  • Procs — icon appears only while the buff/proc is active, with a draining timer and stack count (great for Surge of Light, Void Shield, and similar reactive procs)

Import straight from Blizzard's Cooldown Manager — one click pulls your current spec's Essential, Utility, and Tracked Buff spells (with proper icons and linked spell IDs) instead of hand-typing spell IDs.

Fully customizable tracker list — add any spell by ID, then set its display mode, unit (player/target), spec, and screen position with simple click-to-cycle buttons. Enable/disable/delete individually.

Cooldown charges and buff stacks shown as a small number in the corner of the icon (e.g. Penance's 2 charges, Surge of Light stacks).

Visibility controls — show or hide the whole cursor display based on combat state, mounted state, or vehicle state.

AceDB profile support — switch between a character-specific profile and a shared account-wide profile.

Built-in spell-ID finder — no more guessing spell IDs. /dc watch prints every buff you gain (with its exact spell ID) for a set number of seconds, so you can catch elusive procs in real time and add them as trackers immediately.

Slash Commands

Command What it does
/dc Open the options panel
/dc help List all commands in chat
/dc watch [seconds] Print every buff you gain, with spell ID, for N seconds (default 15) — the easiest way to find a proc's real spell ID
/dc buffs List your current active buffs with spell IDs
/dc aura <name or spellID> Check whether an aura is currently active on you/your target
/dc id <spell name> Look up a spell's ID by its exact name
/dc cd <spellID> Cooldown/charge debug info for a spell
/dc timers Enable Blizzard's cooldown countdown numbers

Notes

  • Built and tested for Midnight (12.0.7); handles the new "secret value" combat restrictions gracefully so it stays stable in and out of combat.
  • Default tracker set is tuned for Discipline/Holy/Shadow Priest, but works for any class — just add trackers for your own spells via spell ID or the Cooldown Manager import.
