Dungeon Watch v1.9.48
What's new
MissionAccomplished 1.9.48
Gaxim quest-chain repair and the new silver rare discovery indicator for Noctis Guides on WoW Classic Era 1.15.9 (Interface 11509). Update Core, Suite and your installed modules together; all thirteen packages share this version.
Noctis Guides
- Covert Ops - Alpha and Beta require both deliveries. The guide now checks the chemicals hand-in and Special Delivery for Gaxim together, matching the reviewed Classic Era prerequisite correction.
- Declining the optional chemicals branch also omits its unavailable required follow-ups from current route instructions, NPC labels, tooltips, markers and automatic pickup advice. Independent Charred Vale quests remain active. A downstream quest you already hold or completed remains respected.
- Mixed quest stops retain available quests, services and independent instructions. Uncertain native state retains obligations; required detours and historical synchronization still require normal completion evidence.
- Restore optional quest reactivates the branch without rewinding the route. Existing character choices and saved route identities remain compatible. No native quest is accepted, abandoned or marked completed by this correction.
- Rare discovery: a compact silver beneficial notice identifies a natively observed rare or rare elite on mouseover. Its generated silver frame and dragon icon are separate from the red area-threat banner. Threat warnings retain priority, and discovery enablement and animation are available in both settings entry points.
Companion packages
Core includes the rare discovery settings defaults. The other eleven packages are version-aligned companions with their existing runtime behavior. Required installer relations, Classic Era compatibility and vendor library versions remain unchanged.
Verification
The full Noctis Guides suite passed 9,934 LuaUnit test executions and 212 route-document assertions across Elune and PUC Lua 5.1, with zero failures. The prerequisite importer passed 53 tests and reproduced its generated catalogue exactly. Compilation passed; existing whole-file lint/style findings are documented separately, with the new code regions and modified tests checked.
An authorized in-game reload confirmed the original Gaxim step omits both unavailable pickups, independent harpy and basilisk work remains visible, and quest history, log count and current progress are preserved.
The rare notice's production renderer, layout, settings, fade, expiry, danger stacking and a real normal-pet negative mouseover were checked in game. Positive rare detection used a clearly labeled renderer preview because no real rare was nearby; a natural positive rare rollover and actual group transition remain unverified. No preview certified encounter safety.
