Version 11.2.0.0 (2025-08-16)

This is a baseline release for Season 3 of The War Within. There are many changes, detailed below, and this release is a bit of a "1 step back for 2 steps forward."

- Season 2 was rough but more improvements planned for season 3 to actually mature addon and make it useful in more dimensions than it is right now, thanks all for patience that have stuck around, this is NOT abandonware! Things take the time they take :(

DUNGEONS

- All dungeons updated for season 3

DUNGEON ROUTES

- Your routes from season 1 and season 2 are fine, but not currently shareable (import/export/chat share).
- There is no "copy routes from season 1/season 2" to season 3 for the returning dungeons, but this is coming as this is useful for all dungeons that return and you want to copy your old routes

DUNGEON LAYOUTS (NEW)
- "Dungeon layouts" have been made an official feature of the data for this addon. This has lead to a lot of re-organization.
  - Most importantly, dungeons now belong to the season they are located in and not the expansion they originate
  - Dungeon routes are tied to dungeon layouts
  - The guaranteed layouts for a fresh season, here on out, are "MDT" copies. I originally wanted to avoid copying MDT,
and why I built my own route builder (partially), but having MDT import/export capability means I need to match
MDT's layout. HOWEVER, MDT isn't always right in their data (and I'm not either, don't go hating on them), and
dungeon layouts gives me the ability to have an "MDT" layout as well as "Matches Live" layout, for example.
This also greatly helps preserve dungeon changes from expansion to expansion, such as having a "Floodgate S2"
and "Floodgate S3", or like DHT where some groups would spawn 1 of 2 types of mobs before Blizzard standardized it.
I want to capture all of that and keep people's routes viable with the changes, even if only for historical purposes.
    Thus, dungeon layouts.
  - Most of dungeon layouts will be transparent to you the player, but there is a dropdown added in top right
(along with the new Expansion/Season dropdowns) that lets you choose a dungeon layout. Mouse over it for
the description of the current layout.
  - Keep in mind:
    - A dungeon belongs to a season now
    - Each dungeon within a season has its own layouts
    - These layouts are what your routes are associated with [so Floodgate S2 has its routes; Floodgate S3 has its routes]
- The set of layouts released here are compatible with MDT's pre-season layouts. The dungeon revisions done by Blizzard for first week of Season 3 are not reflected yet.

ROUTE BUILDER GROUP BUILDING (REVISION)

- The user interface for building chain pulls wasn't as smart as I originally thought it was, so it has been jettisoned
- Your new workflow for building a chain pull:
  - Click "LINK" button at top of map
  - Click as many markers as you want to build the chain pull
  - Click "LINK" button again at top of map to complete the chain pull
- If linking mode is active, and you have a pull selected within an existing chain pull, clicking a new marker will add it to the chain pull
- Individual pulls will still show the chain icon but this is purely a visual indicator

ROUTE BUILDER ROUTE VIEWS (REVISION)

- A new "Multi-Group Pull" header is shown above each chain pull
- You can now view your route in 1 of 3 ways, by clicking the new eye icon and selecting your preferred view
  - VIEW #1: "Combined" - this will summarize the pulls in a chain pull and add up all the mobs, so if you pull 3 Darkfuse Hyenas across 5 different individual groups,
as part of a chain, you'll see "3x Darkfuse Hyena"
  - VIEW #2: "Individual" - this is the standard way of viewing pulls, every group is broken out individually, no summaries of chain pulls displayed
  - VIEW #3: Shows both 1 (summary/combined) and 2 (individual) together

FEATURES COMING SOON
- Bug fixes will be priority if anything is found to not work correctly, aiming for as many releases as needed to get addon stable then it'll be quiet for a bit as major new features are implemented
- Something big is coming that is key to taking this addon to next level, stay subscribed! Season 3 should see more changes to this addon than ever. When announced, more people will be able to easily help with making this addon as useful as possible.
- Prebuilt routes for season 3
- Small revisions throughout to improve user experience
- UI to let you copy routes from another season
- MDT export improvements, including displaying whether a layout is MDT compatible
- MDT import!
- Pull tracker will still only show individual pulls - showing combined groups needs some design work to make it clean for pull tracker
- There's a number of small features that don't work 100%, like certain map filters, these will be fixed
- Priory force count corrections - the first two mini-bosses give force count, the third doesn't. This still needs addressing.
- Revising pull tracker to show the forces killed instead of the awkward display it has since Blizzard changed the API that reports forces killed
- History functionality (capturing and browsing) will be brought back and possibly tied to dungeon layouts
- A mechanism to break a chain pull up permanently will be added, aka "these 10 pulls need to become individual pulls again"
- Improvements to pull tracker so you can activate a route directly, and easily see the layouts/routes you have
