There is no Masterlooter in BfA so there is no use for this addon in Retail, but this should be usable in Classic.
Drunkard Suicide Kings
A Suicide Kings loot distribution addon created for <Drunkard> of Bloodscalp. That does not mean it won't work perfectly well for your guild.
One of the main design goals of DSK was ease of use. There are no options to configure. It is intended to work right out of the box. Set up a list via importing one or manually creating it and you are ready to distribute loot.
Features:
- Two separate lists (normal loot and armor tokens).
- Automatically uses the token list for armor tokens.
- Lists viewable by everyone.
- Gui interface to bid, roll offspec, or pass on items.
- Current winner listed in bidding frame.
- Player's bids, passes, and offspecs listed next to them in the list.
- Ability to copy of lists into and out of WoW.
- Automaticly hands out item to the winner on close bid if avaible (highest bidder or roller)
Usage:
/dsk
will open the list frame. There are two lists: normal gear and armor tokens.
In order to manipulate the lists (add, remove, etc), or opening bidding on an item you must be masterlooter in a raid and a guild officer.
To add someone to a list simply target them and select add. They can be moved up or down the list, removed from the list, or murdered (forced suicide) by selecting the player in the list hitting the appropriate button.
To open bidding on an item simply alt click it. This will open the bidding window on everyone's screen (assuming they also have this installed).
To sync the lists. If you are not the masterlooter and hit sync, the masterlooter will broadcast his list to everyone. If you are the masterlooter and hit sync, all of the officers will send you their lists and yours will be updated. Either way lists are only updated if a newer list is received.
To copy a list out of WoW. Go to the I/E List tab. Select the appropriate list and hit Export. Copy and paste the selected list out of WoW.
To copy a list into WoW. Go to the I/E List tab. Put a list in the appropriate format into the box. Select the appropriate list and hit Import. Note: this will erase the current list.
Notes:
- An officer is defined by ability to speak in
/o
. If you can speak in/o
you are an officer as far as DSK is concerned. - Tier items dropped in the vault will use the normal list. Only the actual armor tokens use the token list.
TODO:
- Fix issue with addon sometimes not opening bidding until UI is reloaded.
- Add a way to undo/revert a list change/suicide.
Thank you very much for the addon! Would it be possible to build a small history/log tab into it? This would be helpful if you made a mistake when manually murdering the wrong person and then having to remember his position. And of course it would be just interesting to see how the list moved during a raid :)
Something like "PlayerX won item Y (Pos. 3 -> 10)" or "PlayerX was murdered (Pos. 4 -> 10)"

Thanks for great feature suggestion! Unfortunately I don't have time to implement this right away, but fear not, I will put it into my thinkin hat and see what I can do when I have more spare time.
P.S.: Sorry for late reply.
Our guilds want to use this lootsystem, but still can't add members to a list. The only thing I can do is make it visivble bij /dsk and then nothing.
Is this problem gonna get fixed?
In reply to Forge_User_97669772:
This is my #1 priority addon-wise, but I'm currently extremly busy with my work and random trips. With the free time I have for the game, I haven't been able to fully test this thing out due to my character not being an officer (yet at least).
I'd also like to use this for classic and have the same issue as Leggolem. I'm in a raid, as the guild master, and master looter, but the Add and Import buttons do not function.
In reply to fossett:
I submitted the output in the open issue.
I downloaded the addon for classic and I am unable to add anyone. The Add and Import buttons are always disabled, even as an officer, in a raid, as master looter.
Any help greatly appreciated.
In reply to Leggolem:
Replied in the ticket you opened.
New Problem since 7.3 update: Token bids uses the normal list and not the token list. Any ideas how to fix this?
Pushed out update trying to fix this. If it doesn't work, could you copy&paste or screenshot itemlink or GetItemInfo() for one of the tokens so I can get more information how to fix this?
Sure. Our next raid is on thursday. I let you know if it works.
But i didnt got an update on my twitch app yet.
It usually takes from minutes to few hours to Curseforge to approve the uploads, then it takes random time to update to Curse and then some hours to appear in the app. If the update doesn't show up in the app by your next raid, your masterlooter can download the new version straight from Curseforge before the raid.
Item ID: 147323 Priest T-HeadToken doesent work. So I guess the others doesnt work either.
I'll look into this.
I think the error happens because the MasterLooter's client doesn't have ItemInfo cached from the server when it should decide if the item is Tier-item or not. I pushed out new version where DSK tries to get the information from the server earlier so information hopefully should be available when the addon tries to use it. If at least your MasterLooter could download the new version and report back to me if it works or not in your next raid.
Thx a lot. I think the problem is or MasterLooter is using a german client. For one raid i was the master looter and it was working fine. Maybe thats the problem?
Locale of the client used shouldn't matter, but if you want to be sure, you can ask your German-client using friend to command
in WoW and see if it prints
(run it again if it gives error or nil or similar on first try)
It says:
Ok, thanks, I'll change the inner workings to more locale independent versions next time I have free time.
Ok the new locale-independent version should be up soon (would have been earlier but Curseforge had hardware issues)
