DriveBy

DriveBy keeps track of your kills, assists, deaths, and the players you encounter, with a compact interface styled to fit WoW.

- Opponent history: Full character names, faction, class, level, and guild when available.
- Flexible statistics: Today, this week, this month, and all-time views for one character or all your characters.
- Recent encounters: Review your fights and open individual player details.
- Weekly guild summaries: Preview and send this week’s statistics to guild chat, or copy them.
- Saved records: Searchable history, text exports, backups, and restore options.
- Adjustable interface: Move and resize the window, change its scale and opacity, and reposition or hide the minimap button.
Getting started
Type /driveby or click the minimap icon to open the addon.
Open Settings → Tracking to enable honor-message and PvP-death tracking. Tracking is disabled by default on a new installation.
How encounters count
A confirmed personal killing blow counts as a kill. Other honorable-kill credit counts as an assist. Assists do not increase your K/D ratio.
Player names and details depend on what the client makes available. Missing or ambiguous names remain Unknown.

Feedback and future updates:
I am happy to hear any feedback, bug reports, or suggestions you might have!
However, I want to be clear that I am not guaranteeing any changes, new features, or regular updates. This is a personal project that I built around my own needs and those of my friends.
If you happen to have the same needs, you are more than welcome to use it. I will keep improving it whenever I feel something needs fixing or adding, but I dont want to make promises about feature requests.
Hopefully some of you will find it useful!
Disclaimer:
AI was used as one of several tools during the development of this addon, alongside my own software development skills and experience.
I am a DevOps Engineer, and I see AI as another useful tool in a developers toolbox. I use it to speed up development, improve efficiency, and help with certain tasks, just as I would use any other development tool.
The addon was created based on my own ideas, requirements, and needs, with AI assisting throughout the development process. I believe in making use of modern tools when they help get things done faster and more efficiently, and I dont see any reason to hide that AI was part of the process.
