2.10.13 – Kith'ix now in the BiS lists, all data refreshed (2026-10-20)

Wowhead has updated its BiS guides: 36 of 40 specs now list Kith'ix items, for example "Band of the Swarmcaller" for Restoration Druids or "Twisted Horror's Tendril" for Restoration Shamans (replacing "Wavecaller's Seastone").

Wowhead

• Full re-scrape of all 40 specs (previous data: September 9). The BiS list changed for 35 specs, not only because of Kith'ix.
• Wowhead spells the boss differently per guide ("Kithix", "Kyth'ix", "General Kith'ix", "The Unbinding of Kith'ix"). build-data.js now normalizes all of them to "Kith'ix".

"New: Kith'ix" section

• Items that the spec's Wowhead guide already lists as BiS now appear only there (tagged BiS), no longer a second time under "New". What remains is loot for your spec that is not (yet) a BiS pick – three items for Restoration Shamans: mail gloves, ring, healer trinket.
• Removing the boss from RaidLoot.lua would be premature: four specs have no Kith'ix item in their Wowhead guide yet.

Archon

• Full refresh, 40 specs, raid (Mythic) and Mythic+. Kith'ix items are among the three most worn in their slot for 32 specs, almost all in raid.
• Hero talent switched: Devourer DH raid (Fel-Scarred → Annihilator), Havoc DH raid (Fel-Scarred → Aldrachi Reaver), Holy Paladin M+ (Herald of the Sun → Lightsmith), Subtlety Rogue (Deathstalker → Trickster), Affliction Warlock raid (Soul Harvester → Hellcaller).
• Limitation: Archon now only shows builds for the most played hero talent. For the other hero talent (28 cases) the Archon builds from October 3 are kept so they don't disappear.
• Collector and receiver are now part of the project (scraper/archon-collect-browser.js, scraper/archon-receiver.js): the script runs in an archon.gg tab and hands the data straight to the local machine, no download needed.

Tested

All four test runs pass. The Kith'ix test now also checks that no item appears twice (under "New" and as BiS); the counter-check without the new filter fails as expected. Not yet tested in game.
