What's new

DragonMiniGames Board games for your downtime in Azeroth. Challenge guildmates, group members and friends to quick turn-based games while you fly, travel, sit in town or wait for the group to fill. Everything runs in a small, movable window – no need to stop what you are doing.

Works on Retail (Midnight) and WoW: Forever. Both players need DragonMiniGames installed.

Games Tic-Tac-Toe The classic 3 × 3 duel – played with Alliance and Horde emblems instead of X and O. Pick your emblem or play your own faction.

Connect Four 7 × 6 board with faction-coloured discs that drop into the column. Hover a column to preview where your disc will land.

Battleship 10 × 10 sea, fleet of 5-4-3-3-2. Place your ships by clicking (right-click rotates) or let the addon place them randomly. Hit = shoot again. Your fleet stays hidden: at the start each player only sends a fingerprint of their fleet, and at the end both fleets are revealed and checked against every answer given. Dishonest answers are flagged.

Memory 4 × 4 or 6 × 6 cards. Choose your deck: Midnight bosses (read from the Adventure Guide), battle pets, mounts or spell icons. Both addons shuffle the deck together, so nobody controls the card order. Find a pair and you go again.

Yahtzee tables (2–6 players) Open a table for your guild, your group or the public lobby, let others join, add computer players if you like, and play the full 13-round game with a shared score sheet. Click dice to hold them, click a field to score. Every roll is generated from a seed that is committed before the game and verified by everyone at the end.

Features Challenges: right-click a player (target, party, raid, guild list, friends) or use the game window. Incoming challenges show a small pop-up with Accept / Decline. Turn timer: 30, 60 or 90 seconds (or no limit). First timeout = warning, second = loss. The timer pauses while the player on turn is in combat. Resign, offer a draw, rematch, plus quick messages ("Good luck!", "Nice move!", "One moment…", "GG"). Several games at once, each in its own tab. A green dot shows where it is your turn. Compact mode: shrink the window to a single status line – handy while flying. Practice against the computer in every game. Public lobby: an optional, hidden chat channel where everyone with DragonMiniGames can meet – also outside your guild. See who is around (free or playing), challenge them, join open Yahtzee tables and chat. Guild tournaments: announce a knockout tournament (Tic-Tac-Toe, Connect Four, Battleship or Memory), guild members sign up, the bracket is drawn (with byes), matches start automatically and results go to the organiser. Draws are replayed; the organiser can set a winner by hand. History and score: your last 10 games and your record against each opponent. Reliable: lost messages are re-sent, and after a /reload both sides re-sync the game. Minimap button (also in the Addon Compartment), Blizzard settings panel, sounds on/off, window scale 70–150 %. No libraries, lightweight, English and German. Good to know Both players need the addon. It uses invisible addon messages (whisper, group, guild and the lobby channel). Who can challenge you is up to you: guild, group and friends (default), everyone, or nobody. Players you meet in the lobby can be allowed separately. Inside instances the game client may block addon messages during combat. Messages are queued and sent afterwards; you can also auto-decline challenges inside instances. The lobby is a custom chat channel. It is hidden from your chat windows and only reaches players on your realm and connected realms. Fair play checks (Battleship, Memory, Yahtzee) protect against casual cheating. They are not meant to stop someone who rewrites the addon. Version 0.1.2 uses a new message protocol – players on 0.1.0/0.1.1 need to update to play together. Feedback Found a bug or have an idea for another game? Leave a comment – screenshots and the exact steps help a lot.
