DOBE-Bag

A customizable dark bag interface for WoW Forever, with an orange bag symbol and the shared DOBE interface style.

Features

• Styles the native combined WoW bags. The usual B binding, bag buttons and bottom-right positioning remain available.
• Grid or compact category layouts, separate view and filter dropdowns, and advanced search.
• Favorites, item protection, recent items and custom search categories.
• Native item-quality colors and borders; no item-level labels.
• Resize from the upper-left corner: width and height independently, or hold Shift for proportional resizing. Content and text adapt; small windows scroll.
• Nine selectable interface color themes with the same bundled surfaces, font and controls as DOBE-UI. The orange logo keeps its own identity.
• Surface opacity is adjustable from 15–100%, while text and items stay readable. NB3 profiles include opacity; legacy NB1/NB2 profiles remain importable and retain the current opacity.
• Cached bag and bank stock for characters you have logged into. Bank data is captured at the bank; saved stock is read-only.
• A merchant button sells eligible gray junk with one deliberate click. Favorites, protected items, quest items and locked stacks are excluded. Manual sorting and repair are available.

Open and use

Use B, /db or /dobebag. Settings: /db options. The legacy commands /nb and /noxbag still work. There is no minimap launcher.

Alt-left-click marks a favorite; Alt-right-click toggles protection. Item pickup, drag, splitting and links use the native item buttons.

Search examples: q>=3, id:6948, (fav | junk) & count>1, !locked. More commands: /db help.

Release and compatibility

DOBE-Bag 0.5.1 targets WoW Forever 1.60.1.70450 / Interface 16001. Twelve relevant native client sources were re-extracted and verified unchanged from build 70425. 1,710 local Lua 5.1 behavior checks pass. Other builds remain disabled until checked. The interface currently uses German text.

Native bag opening, visual styling and bank opening/reopening were checked in build 70425. The bank-opening fix defers addon layout and scan work until the native opening call completes. A full live acceptance test on build 70450, real sales/transfers and a fresh-login persistence test remain pending. Release is the distribution channel, not a claim that every scenario has been verified.

Guild-bank, mail and auction stock, third-party inventory integrations and bulk filtered transfers are not included. Full Baganator feature parity or performance superiority is not claimed. Baganator is a reference only; no Baganator or Syndicator dependency is required.

DOBE-Bag gestaltet die normalen WoW-Taschen im dunklen DOBE-Stil. Öffnen mit B oder /db, Einstellungen mit /db options. Größe oben links ziehen, mit Shift proportional. Kategorien, Suche, Favoriten, Qualitätsränder und ein Händlerbutton für grauen Plunder erleichtern die Bedienung.

Der technische Ordner bleibt NoxBag, gespeicherte Daten bleiben in NoxBagDB. Bestehende Einstellungen bleiben kompatibel; kein zweiter Addonordner nötig.

Independently developed code and artwork. All inventory data stays in local SavedVariables. Bundled Lato font uses its OFL license.
