DNR (Do Not Resuscitate)
Selectively mutes the Patch 12.1 health/resource ping sound — nothing else.
Patch 12.1 added the ability to ping your own health, mana, or resource bar to alert your group, complete with a sound warning that plays for everyone who hears it. Great feature. Less great when you're the healer and three DPS are pinging their health bar at 98% every ten seconds.
DNR mutes just that one sound. Attack pings, Warning pings, Assist pings, spell-ready pings — all untouched. Only the health/resource ping goes quiet.
What it does
- Silences the health/resource ping sound, permanently, across sessions
- Optional: auto-reply in local chat whenever someone pings their health — pick a fixed line, a random rotation, or build your own pool

Notes
- This works by muting the specific sound file Blizzard uses for the health ping in the current patch. If a future patch changes that file, muting may silently stop working until the addon is updated — if that happens, let me know.
- Auto-replies post to local chat only (
/say), so they're only heard by nearby players, not your whole party or raid.
Why "DNR"
Because sometimes the correct medical response to a health ping is simply: no.
