DiceRoller 1.1.0
What's new
Changelog
1.1.0
New Features
- Custom Dice: roll a die with any number of sides (2–1000) from the new
D?tab. Enter the number and roll instantly. - Roll Modifier: add a ± modifier to any roll (click: ±1, shift-click: ±5). The result panel shows the total, the die shows the natural roll. Crits and fails are based on the natural roll.
- Roll Profiles: save up to 5 favorite combinations (die + mode + modifier) and roll them with a single click. Right-click to delete.
- New dice types: D2 (coin), D8 and D10 added, with hand-drawn animated shapes.
- Sound toggle: new speaker button to enable/disable all audio, persisted between sessions.
Improvements
- Bigger, restyled window (360×620): ornate gold frame, larger die area, bigger result panel, alternating history row shading.
- D2 coin: realistic flip animation (lands flat to reveal the result) with coin toss and coin landing sounds.
- D6: the face now settles at its final rotation angle and the pips are drawn aligned with the square.
- Critical (max roll) and fail (natural 1) effects: golden glow / red flash + window shake + dedicated sounds. Disabled on D2/D3.
- Randomized dice-roll sounds; distinct sound set per event (roll start, result, crit, fail).
Fixes
- Fixed profile slots reappearing after deletion when switching dice tabs.
- Fixed potential nil error on D6 pips when using a modifier.
- Fixed sub-pixel rendering dropouts on thin die lines (coin inner circle, D8/D10 midlines).
- Fixed stale result remaining visible over the die while a new roll is animating.
- Fixed memory leak when launch dices multiple times
