Decursive 12.1 Compatibility Patch

An experimental compatibility addon for Decursive 2.8.2, created to restore basic Decursive functionality on World of Warcraft 12.1.x.

Important

This addon does NOT work standalone.

You must have the original Decursive addon installed and enabled alongside this compatibility patch.

What it does

• Allows Decursive 2.8.2 to initialize on WoW 12.1.x

• Restores Decursive Micro Unit Frame (MUF) dispel indicators

• Restores click-to-dispel functionality

• Uses WoW 12.1's newer aura handling instead of Decursive's legacy aura scanner

• Prevents errors caused by Decursive attempting to access restricted/secret aura data

Requirements

• World of Warcraft Retail 12.1.x

• Decursive 2.8.2 installed and enabled

• This compatibility addon installed and enabled

Both addons must be active:

Installation

1. Install the original Decursive addon.

2. Install Decursive 12.1 Compat.

3. Make sure both addons are enabled.

4. Log into the game or use /reload.

Current limitations

This is an experimental compatibility patch, not an official Decursive release.

The main goal is to restore the core MUF dispel workflow:

Dispellable debuff → MUF indicator → Click → Dispel

Some original Decursive features that depend on reading detailed aura information may not work correctly, including parts of the Live List, debuff history, timers, and advanced debuff scanning.
