What's new

Zhaohu's Decursive v13.1.6

Manual party and raid sorting, consistent layout previews, and reliability fixes for WoW Retail 12.1.

Changes since v13.1.5

  • Roster now offers Party sort order and Raid sort order, with Automatic/Manual choices. Manual opens a drag-and-drop player editor with arrow controls. Saved party and raid arrangements remain separate, use full-name/realm identities, and survive roster index changes.
  • Manual raid order supports groups 1-8 and players within each group. Party ordering includes your own character. Solo/Open World offer both editors; Dungeon/Mythic+ offer Party; Raid/PvP offer Raid. Automatic prefers DandersFrames when available.
  • Raid Manual no longer disables automatic party sorting. Existing custom sort choices display accurately. Failed changes restore the previous mode; callback/regen failures retain pending work and retry through coordinated recovery.
  • Live List now covers the full eligible roster, up to 40 players and 40 pets. Its row setting controls preferred rows per column instead of limiting detection coverage. Layouts adjust to fit the screen and allocate rows as needed.
  • Healthy fill and class-border opacity now match in live MUFs and both previews. Dispel color editing is RGB-only to match opaque native paint. Removed the ineffective general Afflicted color and linked-opacity controls. Explicit Raid/PvP display caps are respected by the embedded preview.
  • Diagnostics retain important errors over routine snapshots and add bounded, sanitized paint failure context. Health counters reflect actual engine assignments.
  • Fixed selected-bandage empty-stock reporting, Live List position reset, malformed split layout recovery, and detection/filter setting consistency.

Existing settings

This release performs a one-time refresh of layout values, Automatic sorting and the By me - known targeted cures detection filter for existing environment packs:

  • Solo/Open World: cap 40, sizes 20/20, Party/Raid units per line 5/10.
  • Dungeon/Mythic+: cap 5, sizes 30/20, five units per line.
  • Raid/PvP: cap 40, sizes 20/20, ten units per line.
  • All environments: scale 1.5 and linked horizontal/vertical spacing of 3.

The migration is recorded per profile; inactive profiles receive it when activated. Later edits are retained. Users of local test builds that already applied this migration do not receive it again. Frame positions, bindings, saved manual player arrangements and unrelated settings are preserved.

Use /reload after updating, /dcr for settings, and /zdiag for diagnostics. The addon installs as one ZDecursive folder under CurseForge project 1659159. When upgrading from this project's legacy Decursive / Decursive_Options folders, exit WoW and remove that old copy before extracting. Keep WTF and settings backups. Legacy DecursiveDB profiles are not imported; automatic cleanup across folder-name changes remains unverified.

Validation and known limitations

146 automated Lua regression tests, source validation, diagnostics export tests, and release-package checks. Targeted re-audits cover the corrected failures. These offline checks do not certify every in-game combat, native aura, tooltip or performance scenario. Raid layout was previously client-confirmed; the latest full-roster Live List and audit fixes still need broader in-game validation.
