Deathmap Live Tracker
Live position tracking addon for Deathmap, the WoW Classic Hardcore death map.
This addon streams your character's position (and optionally deaths) to the Deathmap Companion desktop app, which forwards them to the live map on the Deathmap website. It is useless on its own — install the desktop app from the website to make use of it.
Works alongside DeathNotificationLib, but does not require it.
What it does
- Broadcasts your live position via chat-log / combat-log / screen-pixel transports (all opt-in, configurable).
- Rebroadcasts witnessed DeathNotificationLib death alerts (when that library is present) so the live map shows deaths in real time.
- Reports your own death to the companion app.
Configuration
/dmlt or Interface Options → Deathmap Live Tracker.
Privacy
Nothing is sent anywhere by the addon itself — it only writes into your local chat frame / combat log / screen pixels, which the desktop app running on your machine reads. Publishing to the public live map is a separate opt-in in the desktop app.
