Day 'N' Nite

Restores the original Day/Night sun and moon indicator button/icon at the top-right of the minimap, removed in Echoes of Doom (Patch 3.0.2) WoTLK. Displays in-game time on hover. 12/24-hour format, allows toggling formats with right-click.

  • Removed Ace3. Addon is now fully standalone using only native WoW API.

  • Minimap icon logic has been reworked to closely match Blizzard’s own GameTimeFrame behavior, including drag constraint, sizing, and texcoord handling.

  • Icon can now only be dragged along the minimap's outer edge; it no longer moves inside or far outside the frame.

  • Right-clicking the icon toggles between 12-hour and 24-hour formats. Preference is saved to DayNNiteDB.

  • Tooltip updates dynamically to reflect the current time format.

  • Added a slight delay on login to prevent incorrect sun/moon display before first tick.

  • Replaced texture with bundled ui-tod-indicator.blp to ensure consistent appearance across all clients and versions.

  • Updated .toc to support:

    • Retail (10.2.7)

    • Wrath Classic (3.4.3)

    • Classic Era / Hardcore (1.15.5)

    • Season of Discovery (2.5.3)
