# Changelog

## 1.3.3 — 2026-08-11

- Fixed: **the auction-house reaction can no longer talk over itself.** When the auction
window opens or closes, Raid Prep tells the parts of itself that care — the docked
checklist, the Auctionator search button — and each of those runs while the window is
still in the middle of opening. If one of them caused the auction window to change state
again, the whole round of notifications started over from inside itself: some parts were
left acting on an answer that was already out of date, and two parts nudging each other
had nothing to stop them. Raid Prep now finishes the round it is on, then applies
whatever changed in the meantime, so everything ends up agreeing about whether the
auction house is open. If the state never settles, it stops and writes down why.
- Fixed: **opening your bags with the checklist set to open alongside them could stack up
duplicate reactions.** The button Raid Prep adds to the Daseeki-Bags window was recorded
as "already built" only after it had finished building — and building it can open the
checklist, which can send the bags window through its layout again before that record
exists. Each pass through added another permanent copy of the open-with-bags and
close-with-bags reactions, which cannot be removed once installed. The button is now
claimed before it is built, so it is built exactly once and those reactions fire once.

- Fixed: your checklist can no longer be filed under the wrong class. Raid Prep
asked the game which class you are the instant the addon loaded, and if the game
had not worked that out yet — a slow disk, a long addon list, a busy login — the
addon quietly assumed **Warrior** and there was nothing anywhere that ever asked
again. On that login a druid would open the checklist to find it empty, re-add
every flask and elixir, and have all of it saved into a warrior's list; the next
login, when the timing went the other way, the real druid list came back and the
re-entered one vanished, leaving a phantom warrior list behind for good. Raid Prep
now treats "no answer yet" as exactly that — it saves nothing under a guessed
class — and asks again at login and on every loading screen until the game
answers. Nothing about your saved lists changes; there was never a way to tell a
phantom list from a real one, so any warrior list you did not create is still
yours to delete from the class dropdown.

- Fixed: the **Search Auctionator** button in the checklist header now appears the
first time you visit an auction house each session. The game does not build its
auction window until you actually open one, and Raid Prep was asking whether that
window was on screen at the very moment the game was told to create it — so on the
first visit the answer was always "there is no auction window", the button stayed
hidden, and nothing ever asked again. It appeared only on the second and later
visits of a session, which is why it looked intermittent rather than broken. Raid
Prep now watches the auction window itself instead of guessing from the event, so
the button shows whenever the auction house is open, first visit included.

- Fixed: **Open with Auction House** docks the checklist to the auction window on
that same first visit. It used to open at its saved position instead, for exactly
the same reason — the window it was told to attach to did not exist yet. It reads
as a positioning glitch; it was the same race.

- Fixed: adding an item to your list by its ID no longer leaves a small piece of
the addon running for the rest of the session when the server reports it cannot
supply that item. Raid Prep asked again every time it was told "no", instead of
  taking no for an answer.

## 1.3.1 — 2026-08-05

- Fixed: dragging an item to reorder your checklist drops it where you point. If
your **List Scale** was set to anything other than 100%, the placement bar
drew away from the mouse — below it at scales under 100%, above it over 100% —
and the further up the list you dragged, the further off it got, so items
landed several rows from where the bar suggested. The window measures the
cursor against the list at the list's own scale now, so the bar sits under the
pointer at every List Scale and every UI Scale. At exactly 100% nothing changes
  — which is why this went unnoticed for so long. Thanks to the player who
  reported it with a screenshot.

- Changed: if your Daseeki Core is too old for the Raid Prep settings page, the message now tells you which version you actually have installed, in the same wording every Daseeki addon uses.

## 1.3.0 — 2026-08-03
### Changed
- **Send Consumes moved to Daseeki Conduit** — your recipients and item choices
migrate automatically on first Conduit load. The Send Mail button, the Mail
Items window, and the per-faction recipient fields have been removed from Raid
Prep; the Mail options section now points to Conduit, where the same feature
lives as a rule you can run at any mailbox. Your previously saved recipients and
item selections are left untouched and are imported by Conduit once. If you had
Send Consumes set up and Conduit is not installed, opening a mailbox prints one
line telling you where the feature went — said once per version, never if you
had not set the feature up, and never once Conduit is installed.
- The checklist window now uses the font you picked in Daseeki Core, everywhere.
Item names were still drawn in the game's stock gold face, so they ignored both
the font picker and your theme's text colour while the column headers, counts
and window title around them had already moved onto the suite look — the list
read as two different UIs stacked together. Every remaining surface follows the
picker now: item names (at your Text Scale setting), the class selector, the
Add Item / New Item / Cancel / Add to Database buttons, the search box and its
suggestions, the quantity boxes, the Lock label, the drag preview, the empty-list
line, and the whole New Item capture window. Sizes, spacing and colours are
unchanged, and without Daseeki Core installed the window looks exactly as before.
- The class selector has room to breathe under the **Raid Prep** title — it used to
sit almost against it, so the title and the selector read as one crowded line. The
selector, the Lock box beside it, the divider, the column headings and the list all
moved down together by the same 8 pixels, so every other gap in the header is
exactly as it was, and the window is 8 pixels taller so the list shows the same
number of items as before. If you have resized the window yourself, your size is
kept and the list is 8 pixels shorter.
- **The buttons in the top-right of the checklist window are the suite's own icons
now.** They were the last stock Blizzard art on the window — a gold engineering
cog and the round red X — sitting under a title that had already moved onto the
suite look. All three controls are now the same 22px icon button the Nexus
dashboard and Daseeki Bags 2.0 use: a flat square that takes your theme's colours,
with the mark inside it drawn in the muted text colour and lighting up as you
hover. The ✕ lights up red rather than gold, because closing is the one
destructive thing in that row. The cog and the ✕ are the exact same image files
Nexus uses, so the three windows are pixel-identical where they overlap; the
auction-house button — which still appears only while the auction house is open —
wears a new auctioneer's gavel drawn to match them. Nothing about what the buttons
DO has changed: ✕ closes, the cog opens Raid Prep's settings, and the gavel runs
the Auctionator shopping search for everything you are short on. The **New Item**
capture window's ✕ matches too. Without Daseeki Core installed there are no theme
colours to draw with, so all of these keep exactly the buttons they had before.
- The **Raid Prep** window title now reads in the same colour as the Nexus
dashboard title, so the two windows sit side by side as one suite. It takes the
colour from your active theme (the same accent colour Nexus uses) rather than a
fixed one, so it follows every theme you switch to — including live, without
reopening the window. The title's ceremonial lettering is unchanged, and without
Daseeki Core installed the title looks exactly as it did before.

### Fixed
- **Copying a list no longer wipes your Optional ticks.** Export wrote only item
IDs and quantities, and Import replaced the class list outright — so every
Export → Import round trip silently cleared every Optional tick on that class.
If you ever moved a list to a second account, to an alt, or to a raidmate, the
ticks were gone and there was nothing on screen to say why. Export now carries
them, and Import puts them back. Nothing else about the format changed:
strings from an older version still import exactly as before, and a string
from this version still imports into an older version — it just cannot show
the ticks there. Importing an **older** string over a list you have already
ticked now *keeps* those ticks, because an old string has no way to say an
item is not optional; only a string from this version can clear one. The
status line after an import tells you how many items came in, how many are
optional, and what it kept or skipped.
- The HAVE / NEED column reads the way it always has again. The Field Ledger
redress had quietly retired the rule: a line you are stocked on went to a calm
beige instead of green, so nothing on the checklist read as *done*, and the
required-vs-optional distinction collapsed — every shortfall looked the same
urgent red. Restored: stocked is **green** (including exactly meeting the count,
e.g. 10 / 10), an unmet **optional** item is **yellow**, and an unmet required
item is **red**. The colours now follow your chosen theme's own positive /
caution / danger colours, so the Field Ledger look is untouched. Item names are
unchanged. The locked-view sort (stocked, then required-missing, then
optional-missing) now reads the same rule as the colours, so the two can never
  disagree.
- **Class names no longer get cut off in the class selector.** The selector at the
top of the checklist had a fixed-width box sized by eye for the game's old stock
font; once the window moved onto the font you picked in Daseeki Core the wider
letters stopped fitting, and the longer classes showed as "Warri…". The box is
now sized from the longest class name as your chosen font actually draws it —
measured, not guessed — so every name fits whole, closed and in the open list.
It re-measures itself if you change the font or the font scale while the window
is open, and it never gets narrow enough to clip even without Daseeki Core
installed. Nothing beside it moved: the box only grows to the right, well clear
of the Lock checkbox, even at the smallest window size.

## 1.2.0
- Settings rebuilt on the new Daseeki Core 2.0 interface (requires Daseeki Core 2.0.0+).
- Single-page, two-column options layout — every setting visible without scrolling at
the default window size. All behaviors unchanged.

## 1.1.0
### Added
- **Send Consumes** button on the Send Mail window. Scans your bags and mails
every matching consumable stack to a per-faction bank character. The item set
is the union of all class checklist lists plus your manual extras, minus any
  items you have unchecked.
- Per-faction bank recipient (Alliance / Horde) configurable in
Options > Raid Prep > Mail.
- **Mail Items** window (right-click the button, or Options > Choose Items) to
toggle which items are mailed and add extras via keyword/item-ID search or by
dragging an item onto the window.

### Safety
- A confirmation dialog now appears before the first mail is sent, showing the
recipient, the number of matching stacks, how many mails will be sent, and the
estimated postage cost. Nothing is attached or sent until you accept.
- Refuses to run if the Send Mail form already has a recipient, subject, body,
or attachment, so it can never hijack a mail you are already writing.
- Refuses to mail to your own character and rejects obviously malformed
  recipient names.
- Skips soulbound items (and any other item the mail server rejects) so a single
unmailable item can no longer stall or cancel the batch.
- Only mail-related errors abort an in-progress send; unrelated red UI errors
  are ignored.

## 1.0.0
