Known client bug: settings don't survive a login
The WoW: Forever client writes addon SavedVariables to disk correctly but never reads them back when the UI loads. This affects every addon, not just this one — Baganator, Leatrix, minimap button positions and Blizzard's own Issue Reporter lose their settings the same way.
The client does read addon .lua files, which is how any addon runs at all. So this addon keeps your settings in StartupProfile.lua inside its own folder instead. Set things up the way you want in game, click Save Settings..., choose whether it applies to this character, to everyone, or both — the window then gives you the text and the exact steps to paste it into the file. You only repeat it when you change settings.
