Custom Aura Sounds

Newly released addon for PTR, some defensive spellID's are untested.

This addon allows you to hear the moment an aura lands on you, or falls off, instead of having to only rely on watching your buff bar. Pick the buffs and debuffs you care about, give each one a sound, and react without looking.

Patch 12.1 gave us the ability to trigger sounds on every aura application, stack gain or aura removal. This addon utilizes the aura application and aura removal.

Externals come with a decent variety of pre-generated voice lines with the common (and some uncommon) nicknames for the spells. You can also add your own sounds with LSM on both aura activation and aura removal.

• The External Tab covers the buffs and debuffs other players put on you, like Bloodlust, Power Infusion, and Blessing of Sacrifice.
• Your class loads your own character's abilities, with most of the defensives and movement buffs already added, so you can put a sound on the defensives and movement tools you want a sound trigger for.

What you can do

• Set one sound for when an aura is applied, and a different one for when it drops off.
• Add your own auras by spell ID for anything not already in the list.
• Save your setup to profiles and carry it between characters.
• Export just your externals, just your current class, or everything, so sharing your Warlock sounds with a friend won't overwrite their Mage.

Who it's for

Players who would rather listen for the important stuff than watch for it.

Can you add raid/dungeon debuffs and trigger them?

Technically yes, however my other addon "Custom Countdown Sounds" is made and maintained for this purpose!

Are you planning to add stack sounds?

Not currently, as the things meant to be tracked with this addon don't generally have stacks. Also, you cannot specify a certain stack amount to trigger the sound on, so be careful what you wish for!
