CursorXY

This add-on was created mainly for my own use, but I decided to share it in case it might be helpful.

Find your cursor in a heartbeat, no matter the chaos on screen.

Inspired by the "Cursor Guides" option in Heroes of the Storm, CursorXY displays horizontal and vertical lines centered on your mouse, ensuring you never lose track of your cursor during intense combat or on high-resolution displays.

🌟 Key Features

• 🛡️ Combat Visibility: Assign a specific color for combat mode to better distinguish your mouse amidst the spell effects.
• 🎨 Customizable Styles: Choose between a smooth Gradient (HotS style) or a Solid Line for maximum visibility.
• 🔘 Focus Circle: An optional central halo to lock in the cursor's precise position.
• 💓 Pulse Animation: The crosshair gently pulses when stationary for instant peripheral detection.
• 📏 Dynamic Size: Lines "magnetically" extend based on your mouse speed for an organic and responsive feel.
• 🎯 Target Mouseover Color: Intelligently changes color based on the unit you are hovering over (Friend/Enemy/Neutral).

⚙️ Configuration

Type the following command in-game to open the full configuration menu:

/cursorxy

From there, you can adjust length, thickness, opacity, and toggle each effect individually.

⚡ Keybindings

The addon is fully compatible with WoW's official keybinding system. Go to Options > Keybindings > Cursor XY to assign a key and toggle it on the fly.

This add-on was largely created using AI, and I didn’t do much testing, so there may be some bugs. If you find it helpful and would like improvements, feel free to suggest them in the comments.
I don’t have much playtime, so it may take a few days. AI allows me to create this kind of micro-project even without a lot of free time :)
