What's new

This update gives the collector a money of their own, the rubies, takes the levels up to 100, has your cards appraised at the bankers and dresses the titanforged cards in the frame of the titans.

Highlights

  • Mandatory update: 1.11.0 replaces 1.10.0, which stops working. The Curator app installs it for you.
  • Rubies, the money of the collector: your quests, your achievements, your levels and the golden quests give them, and all you already did pays out at your first login.
  • Level 100: eight new ranks past the legend, the gems of the game up to the rank of Curator. The experience you earned past level 60 counts at once.
  • Three new tiers of talents in each tree, and three new titles of prestige.
  • The expertise of the cards at the bankers: a grade from 1 to 10, and the card sealed in its case.
  • The frame of the titans for the titanforged cards: a prismatic holo, their creature in front, and a brand new entrance.

Installation

  • With the Curator app (https://www.curator-wow.com/download): it installs 1.11.0 by itself.
  • By hand: unzip the archive into your Interface\AddOns folder, replacing the files already there, then restart the game completely (a /reload is not enough). The archive holds one folder: Curator.

Rubies

The money of the collector. It comes from what you do in the game, never from your cards.

  • Quests: 10 rubies for a quest of the day (15 in the dungeons), 60 for a quest of the week (100 in the dungeons, 150 in the raids), 250 for a quest of the month (500 in the raids).
  • Achievements: 2 rubies for each of their points, claimed with their experience.
  • Collector levels: 25 rubies for each level claimed, 225 for a new rank.
  • Golden quests: 400 rubies each.
  • What you already did counts: at your first login with 1.11.0, your achievements, your levels claimed, your quests done since 1.9.0 and your golden quests give their rubies at once.
  • The ruby counter: a click on your rubies, in the title bar of the album (or /curator counter), with its boosters, its antiquarian and the ledger of your last comings and goings.
  • They belong to your account, as your collection: they cannot be traded.

What rubies buy

  • The reconversion contract of the talents: 1,000 rubies the first time, twice as much each time (32,000 at most), a step less for each month without one. No more copies to spare.
  • Change the quests of a page: every quest of the page changes, those done too (their rewards are claimed first), for twice their rubies. Once a day for the quests of the day, once every 30 days for those of the month, once every 7 days for the others.
  • A rumor of your choice at an innkeeper: for 50 rubies, the card of the creature you are looking for is twice as easy to find all day.
  • Boosters to choose: 300 rubies for a booster of a zone, 500 for a booster of a dungeon, 800 for a booster of a raid, two a week.
  • The antiquarian: the cards missing from your nearly complete albums (3 cards or fewer), from 200 rubies for a common card to 6,000 for a mythic one, one a week.
  • The expertise of your cards, at the bankers (see below).

Level 100

  • The levels go up to 100: past the legend, level 61 asks 30,800 XP, then 800 more each level (62,000 for level 100). About a year at two or three hours of play a day.
  • Eight new ranks, the gems of the game, each with its emblem: Citrine (65), Aquamarine (70), Star Ruby (75), Sapphire (80), Opal (85), Emerald (90), Diamond (95), then Curator at level 100.
  • A longer reward track: a booster of a dungeon to choose every five levels, a booster of a raid every ten (three at level 100), and rubies at every level.
  • Your experience past level 60 counts: at your first login, your level climbs at once and its rewards wait for you on the track.

Talents

  • Three new tiers in each tree, past the legend: they open from level 61, and you have 100 talent points at level 100.
  • The Tracker: rubies for the cards found on creatures, cheaper rumors (Scout's Gossip: one free a day), Whispers, Night Hunter or Gold Rush, Ruby Eye, and Legend of the Wilds: each day, the first missing card you find on a creature comes titanforged.
  • The Merchant: rubies for the contracts and the trades, Wholesale Price (a free booster to choose each week), interest on your rubies, Second Opinion or Satisfied Customer for the expertise, Exchange Rate, and Market Maker: each day, your first contract gives 50 rubies and a booster of a zone to choose.
  • The Augur: Prophecy (once a day, the quests of a page changed for nothing), rubies for each booster opened, Double Vision, Star-Touched or Fate of the Depths, Ruby Aura, and Eye of Fate: each week, your first booster opened holds one more card, legendary or better.
  • Three new titles of prestige for the last talents: Warden of the Wilds, Tycoon and Fatebinder.
  • Each tier of the tree now stands under its own line, and a line of gold marks the end of the legend.

The expertise of the cards

At a banker, have your cards appraised, once and for all.

  • An expert looks at the card under his lamp: its centering, its corners, its edges and its surface, each marked from 1 to 10.
  • His verdict: a grade from 1 to 10, from Damaged to Flawless (a 10, once in 25 times). A 10 comes in gold, with its rays and a fanfare.
  • The card is sealed in its case, with its label: its name, its album and its number, its four marks, its grade and the number of its certificate.
  • Its price, by rarity: from 30 rubies for a common card to 450 for a mythic one.
  • A card appraised stands in its case when you open it big, and on the pedestals of your showcase, where the other players see it.

Titanforged cards

A frame of their own, and a brand new entrance.

  • The frame of the titans: enamel of the colour of their rarity set in polished gold, diamonds, and a dust of stars that glitters.
  • A prismatic holo on the frame: fine rays of all the colours, whose light goes round the card and runs through the colours as you tilt it in your hand.
  • Their creature stands in front: the prism goes on behind it in its window, wheels of rainbow rays turn at its back, it is lit by the light of the prism, and stars twinkle on it.
  • Their entrance: time stands still, a white light bursts into all the colours behind the card, a pillar of light, waves of each colour, shards of crystal, a chime and the banner of the prism.

Other changes

  • Options: in the options of the game (Options, AddOns, Curator), with /curator options or with the gear of the album. The size of the album (from 60 to 130 %, also with Ctrl and the mouse wheel over the album), the switches of what the commands did, the rubies said in the chat, the sounds of Curator, and Reset the windows.
  • 20 new achievements (377 in all): rubies earned and spent, quests changed, rumors and boosters bought, cards appraised, level 100 and the last talents.
  • Four new titles of prestige: Grand Curator for level 100, Warden of the Wilds, Tycoon and Fatebinder.
  • The website shows the new ranks and the new frame of the titanforged cards. The patch notes are there too, in English and in French: https://www.curator-wow.com/patch-notes
