CrowdControlHelper (CCHelper)

Never miss a crowd control.

When you successfully apply a supported crowd control effect, CCHelper begins tracking its duration and provides a reminder shortly before it expires. If the effect is refreshed, reapplied, or extended, the timer automatically updates so your reminder stays accurate.

Supported examples include:

• Polymorph
• Paralysis
• Imprison
• Entangling Roots
• Freezing Trap*
• Hex
• and many more.

Limitations

• Intended for PvE gameplay. PvP crowd control interactions are not currently supported.
• Ground-targeted crowd control (such as Freezing Trap) requires the intended target to remain targeted when the effect is applied so the addon can associate the crowd control correctly.
• CCHelper focuses on providing reliable expiration reminders. It does not announce when crowd control is broken early, ensuring consistent behavior within Blizzard's API limitations.
