MyPartyAddon: Web-Linked Calendar Helper

Overview: MyPartyAddon is a convenient helper addon that bridges your external web application (like a party finder tool) with the World of Warcraft in-game calendar. It simplifies creating in-game calendar events from your web-generated party information and helps you quickly invite participants.

Features:

• Data Import: Uses data copied from your web app in the format: Title|YYYYMMDD|HHMM|InviteList. Simply paste this into the addon UI.

• Simple Event Creation: Automatically parses the pasted data (Title, Date, Time) to quickly create a personal calendar event. (Open UI with /mpa command or minimap button).

• Bulk Invite Functionality: After manually clicking the newly created event in the calendar, press the addon's "Invite" button to automatically send calendar invites to all players in the pasted invite list (CharacterName-ServerName format). (Includes a 1.5-second delay between invites).

• Saves Time: Significantly reduces the tedious process of manually entering event details planned on the web into the in-game calendar and searching for/inviting multiple players one by one.

• Reduces Errors: Prevents typos in character names or server names when inviting, ensuring accurate invitations.

• Web App Synergy: Creates a seamless link between your external tools and in-game activities, helping you efficiently manage the process from party formation to event scheduling.

How to Use:

1. Copy the formatted data string from your web application.

2. Type /mpa in the in-game chat to open the addon window.

3. Paste the copied data into the addon's text box.

4. Click the "1. Create Event" button to create the personal calendar event.

5. Follow the chat instruction: Open the Calendar (Shift-K) and manually click the event you just created.

6. Go back to the addon window and click the "2. Invite to Selected Event" button to send invites to the players in the list.

Note: Due to API limitations, this addon requires you to manually click the event in the calendar after creating it for the invite function to work correctly.
