CraftSage — Profession Leveling Guide for Classic Era & Hardcore

CraftSage attaches a sleek side panel to the native TradeSkill window and tells you exactly what to craft next, from skill 1 all the way to 300.

Features

• Auto-tracks your skill level — always knows where you are, no setup needed
• Step-by-step crafting guide — highlights the active recipe in your TradeSkill list, shows upcoming steps dimmed ahead (configurable: 0–3)
• Trainer steps — when you need to visit a trainer, CraftSage shows an amber callout with faction-appropriate trainer locations (Alliance / Horde)
• Live mat counts — green/red "have / need" counts pulled straight from your bags
• Mat source tags — vendor-bought items are highlighted in amber with a [buy] tag so you know what to go buy vs. gather
• Item tooltips on hover — hover any material or recipe row to see the native WoW tooltip
• Ctrl+Click → Wowhead — Ctrl+click any mat or recipe row to open a dialog with the Wowhead link ready to copy
• Shopping list — aggregates all materials from your current skill to 300, with checkboxes to track what you've gathered and a one-click "Copy to Chat" button
• Skill progress bar — visual 0–300 bar at a glance
• HC Recommended badge — marks professions with gold-efficient, beginner-safe leveling paths
• Settings panel — customize panel scale, opacity, number of upcoming steps, auto-open behavior, step flash, tooltips, vendor highlights, and more. Access via Escape → Interface → AddOns → CraftSage, or the minimap button
• Minimap button — click to open the settings panel from anywhere; position is draggable and saved between sessions
• Supports all 8 Classic professions: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Engineering, Enchanting, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Cooking, First Aid

Supported localizations: English (enUS), French (frFR), German (deDE)

Usage

Open any profession window — CraftSage appears automatically on the right side. The panel is freely movable; drag it anywhere. It hides when you close the profession window.

Slash commands:

/craftsage       — toggle the guide panel
/craftsage reset — reset shopping list checkmarks for the current profession

Access settings via Escape → Interface → AddOns → CraftSage or click the minimap button.

Compatibility

WoW Classic Era (Interface 11508). Not compatible with Wrath, Cataclysm, or Retail.
