Craft Usage Tooltip is a lightweight addon for World of Warcraft Classic (MoP) that displays the professions associated with any tradeskill ingredient directly inside the item tooltip.

This addon uses the game's item class/subclass data to detect crafting materials and automatically shows which professions can use them. Profession names are retrieved through the WoW API (GetSpellInfo), ensuring full localization for all client languages.

No configuration, no database, no scanning — just clean, instant information in your tooltips.

How it works

Installation

Unzip the archive and place the folder CraftUsageTooltip into:

World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns/

Then restart the game or reload your UI.
