What's new

Changelog

1.3.1 (2026-11-01)

  • Count down: one number each second, exactly on its second, then the text at 0: "5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... Soak". It now speaks even with Read them out off; that switch only quiets raid note lines that have no speech setting of their own.
  • The same alert settings everywhere: the alert editor, Mech Alerts and raid notes share one set of settings. Mech Alerts gains Say instead, Count down from and Speak at: Before 0, and raid note lines carry them to the raid.
  • 59 sound effects in four groups: Short, Impacts, Instruments and Devices. Restart the game after updating so it finds the new files.
  • Shorter sound lists: every sound list opens on None, Voices, Sound effects and More, and each group opens its own list with Play buttons.
  • Voices: now named Male01 and Female01 (your picks are kept). The clips are trimmed, the numbers are quicker, and Female01 also says Void, West and Yellow.
  • Speech timing: spoken calls start on the exact moment they're due.
  • Low health: the sound setting now points you to the game's own low-health pulse (Combat Audio Alerts), since addons can't play a sound on it in this patch.

1.3.0 (2026-10-31)

  • Voice packs: spoken alerts and countdowns now use a voice, Xavier (male, the default) or Lola (female), for raid calls such as Soak, Spread and Adds, and for numbers. Anything else is read by the game's text to speech. Pick one under Quality of Life > Sounds; every sound list has the clips too. Restart the game after updating so it finds the new sound files.
  • Alert timing: sounds now play exactly at 0, and every countdown (text, icons, circles, bars, the Timeline area, note windows) reads 0 at that same moment. Time left now rounds up, so the last number before NOW is 0.1.
  • Sound and speech: new Say instead (speak other words than the text), Count down from 3 to 10, and Speak at: Before 0 with the seconds to speak early. An alert shows early enough for its whole count.
  • Import reminders (Timeline): paste a Timeline Reminders export, one boss or many, into your own Timeline reminders. Lines are matched to you by name, class, spec, role, melee or ranged, and raid group. Each boss lists every line, yours ticked, and you can tick other players' lines to import them too. Spell icons, speech, countdowns and circle or text display carry over.
  • Healer CDs: drag a healer's name to move their whole block, or a spell to reorder it. The order is kept per boss and goes to the raid with Push note.
  • Healer slots: plan a healer by spec before you know who plays it, with spec words in notes such as RestoDruid2.
  • Push note also shares your roster: raiders' Raid Groups and Late Tracker use the lead's active layout. The group leader's own layout is never replaced.
  • Notes: an assignment with a raid marker in its label, such as "Soak Ghost at : Name", can be edited and dragged in the note editor. "melee" and "ranged" lines now include tanks and melee healers.
  • Timeline: your own note flags are blue, with their own size setting (Personal note size), and your reminders show their colour and a bar for how long before 0 they show.
  • Pace: pace bars are named for their boss.

1.2.2 (2026-10-30)

  • Raid marker icons in notes: , , , to and the other marker names now show as icons wherever a note is shown: the note windows, the Raid Notes page, the note editor's preview and note alerts. The edit boxes and anything sent to chat stay as plain text.
  • Mech Alerts fix: switching between Special and Mechanics no longer draws both lists on top of each other or throws a Lua error.

1.2.1 (2026-10-30)

  • Previews by section: every page with something on screen has its own preview button, plus one per display, so you can move just the alerts, just the note windows or just the pace window. The title bar's Previews still shows everything.
  • Debuff lists (new special alert): shows who has a debuff in columns by raid group, with your own colours, sides and bar size. First up: Grasping Fangs on Ula'tek. Tick it under Mech Alerts > Special.
  • Mech Alerts: special alerts use the same tabs as mechanics (When, Who, Looks, Sound and speech, Shield bar, Markers).
  • Note editor: Push note saves and shares in one click; Remove assignment takes an assignment out, with its blank line. New assignments keep the note's format: short names, spaces between them, a blank line before.
  • Interrupts: every kick number shows on the plates by default (yours still stands out).
  • Timeline: Review shows "Deaths from the last (N) pulls"; click the number to change it. Time visible, Fit and Play are gone from Review (right-click the time axis to fit the fight; Rehearse plays). Settings has no Rows block, and the Advanced tab is gone.
  • Main window: a thinner menu scroll bar and wider menu buttons.

1.2.0 (2026-10-29)

  • Assignments: build soaks, sides and other assignments on the new Assign tab in Mech Alerts, or with Add assignment in the note editor. Drag players onto rows; each row gets timers on the casts it is on, in the boss's raid note. A pasted note's group list can become one too.
  • Interrupts (new, optional): numbers above a boss's adds by kick order, a heads-up before your kick, and a kick list the raid leader shares. Drag players into each group's row; the list is written to the raid note as Kick order, and dragging there updates Interrupts too. Twin Fangs and The Coiled Altar to start, and leaders can make setups for any boss. Off by default: tick Enable Interrupts under General Settings.
  • Addon check (General Settings): who in the group runs CRT, which version, and which modules they have on. Raiders on older versions show their version. Announce posts who is missing or behind, and a click on a row whispers them.
  • Mech Alerts: Save as Raid note puts an alert in the boss's raid note for everyone; For takes several roles; the settings sit on tabs (When, Looks, Sound and speech, Shield bar); Show from is now Duration.
  • Shield bars: a bar for a boss's shield on alerts and note lines (shield:), with the last pull's shield times.
  • Raid Notes: Import/New saves any text as a note and picks the boss when the text doesn't name one.
  • Heroic timelines for seven bosses, including the Heroic Coiled Altar.
  • Teams: look-alike team names are caught, and Merge team joins two.
  • Classic theme: menu headers get a steel border.

1.1.5 (2026-10-27)

  • Team raids: pick tonight's team (Team, Pug or your own) instead of the Running CRT slider. The raid leader's Push to raid sets it for every CRT user in the raid.
  • New raid group popup: the leader is asked Use Loot Master? and which team. Raiders are asked which team when the leader hasn't set one.
  • Season Stats: a Team filter (All, Team, Pug and your teams). Raid Finder and party pulls count only in All.
  • Remove team: deletes a team and its Season Stats, after two warnings.

1.1.4 (2026-10-25)

  • Placement (new): move, nudge, centre and anchor every movable element from its gear.
  • Select Anchor: click any frame on screen, like your unit frame, to anchor to it.
  • Share alerts: export and import Mech Alerts and special alerts as a code.
  • Impact ticks: fill-up bars with tick marks on any mechanic.
  • Special alerts: your own Show from, icons, roles and pre-pull alerts.
  • Test buttons: play around the first cast and read Stop while running.
  • Timeline: deaths as spec icons, drag to zoom, and a larger pop-out.
  • Healer CDs: hover a row and click to place a cooldown.
  • Raid Notes: timer lines move with their assignment line.
  • Loot Master: My Loot card and /crt loot; raiders always see the boss's loot.
  • Gear Checker: Extra filters for upgrades, item level, enchants and empty slots.
  • Window opacity: sets each window's background.
  • Themes: warning colours contrast with each theme.
  • Default places: tidier starting spots for the alert areas.
  • Midnight Season 2: three-raid route and more upgrade track IDs.
  • Fixes: Loot History duplicates, Extra filters closing, Raid Notes Send to row.

1.1.3 (2026-10-24)

  • Season Stats (new, under Modules): pulls, wipes, kills, first and best kill per boss, your repair bill and the raid's repair costs, and a reflection for each boss.
  • Team raids: a raid counts as your team when 75% of it runs CRT (adjustable). Season Stats keeps team and all raids apart; Tattlebot and the Late Tracker record only team raids by default.
  • Healer CDs (Timeline pop-out): each healer's major cooldowns under the boss's abilities, in class colours. Healers can move their own cooldowns and send them to the raid lead; right-click a healer to show or hide rows. Set role on Raid Groups.
  • Timeline: drag across the time bar (or Ctrl+drag) to zoom, Fit to zoom back out; click a recent pull to show its deaths, with a bold Kill or Wipe line.
  • Ability tooltips: hover an ability on the Timeline, Mech Alerts or Season Stats to read its Encounter Journal notes.
  • Mech Alerts: a Special tab for boss-specific alerts.
  • Raid Notes: History keeps your last 5 versions with Compare and Restore. Note callout/assignments has its own settings (size, font, text to speech); Texts is now Critical alerts text.
  • Debuffs: optional tooltips on hover.
  • Loot Master: session buttons grey out for players who can't run loot.
  • Menu: General, Bosses, Raid Admin, Modules.
  • What's new: a short list like this appears once after an update; /crt whatsnew shows it again.
  • Season 2: The Lost Explorers' ability timeline has its types, and the class cooldown list is updated for patch 12.0.

1.1.2 (2026-10-23)

  • Menu: the side menu is in four groups with headers: General, Raid Admin, Bosses and Modules.
  • Requests (new page under Modules): ask the raid who needs an item, like a Vantus rune or a flask. Raiders answer with a popup, and Trade 1 hands one to each player who needs one.
  • Help icons: every (?) sits just right of what it explains, on every page.
  • Tooltips: choose where CRT tooltips open: on their own side (the default), at a spot you click around the window, at the game's tooltip spot, or following the cursor. Loot History, Loot Master and the Timeline can each have their own setting.
  • Profiles: Export settings only, for sharing your setup with raiders: no notes, layouts or history, and nothing personal like chat output. Import shows what will change first, keeps a backup, and has Undo.
  • Invites: Invite missing on Raid Groups, and click a player who isn't here on the Late Tracker to invite them. Each player moves into their group when they join, after combat if needed.
  • Loot Master:
    • Test boss kill holds test loot on the Tonight tab like a real kill; Start session gives it out.
    • End session asks first; real items still waiting go back to the Held boss loot list.
    • Add item from your bags: drag or shift-click any item you can still trade, one copy per drag.
    • Flasks, potions and other items you don't wear are open to every raider.
    • CRT Looting stays on through a /reload, and the Boss loot list is kept for the whole raid with each item's 2-hour trade time.
    • Items outside the raid leader's loot filter get a normal roll.
    • Trades put in exactly one copy and never leave an item on your cursor.
  • Debuffs: an Ignore these debuffs list: add a spell ID, or right-click a debuff out of combat. The game only lets addons hide some debuffs on you, and the list says which.
  • Mech Alerts: alerts are saved for Normal/Heroic or Mythic. Old "Any" alerts now show in both.
  • Raid Notes:
    • The note editor can pick its players from the group, the invite list or a Raid Groups layout.
    • "Demon Hunter" and "Death Knight" are one class everywhere, and an assignment line naming your class counts as yours.
    • The Timers window no longer stutters on large notes during a pull.
    • The note windows no longer show outside a raid by default.
  • Markers: marker macros on Raid Notes (make, update, drag to your bars), a freeform marker canvas, and marker displays for Sszorak and Nek'zali.
  • Timeline: Export Abilities works for raids older than Warlords of Draenor.
  • Your own sounds now play only from the CowfeeRaidTools_Media companion addon.
  • Fixes: the Raid Groups name picker opens in front, and the ready check consumables bar draws on top.

1.1.2 beta 2 (2026-10-23)

  • Requests (new page under Modules): ask the raid who needs an item, like a Vantus rune or a flask. Raiders answer with a popup, and Trade 1 hands one to each player who needs one.
  • Loot Master:
    • End session asks before ending everything; real items still waiting go back to the Held boss loot list.
    • Add item from your bags: drag or shift-click any item you can still trade onto the Tonight tab, one copy per drag.
    • Flasks, potions and other items you don't wear are open to every raider.
    • Trades put in exactly one copy and never leave an item on your cursor.
  • Tooltips:
    • Click where tooltips open, on a picker around the window, or let each open on its own side (the default).
    • A picked spot sits outside the edge of the window you're in, or of a popped-out page.
    • Loot History, Loot Master (with its item tabs) and the Timeline can each have their own setting.
  • Raid Notes: the Timers window no longer stutters on large notes during a pull.
  • Menu: spacing tightened so every page fits.

1.1.2 beta 1 (2026-10-22)

  • Menu: the side menu is in four groups with headers: General, Raid Admin, Bosses and Modules.

  • Tooltip position (General Settings > Appearance): show CRT tooltips next to what you hover, or at the game's own tooltip spot.

    • Items outside the raid leader's loot filter get a normal roll.
  • Mech Alerts: alerts are saved for Normal/Heroic or Mythic. Old "Any" alerts now show in both.
  • Raid Notes:
    • The note editor can pick its players from the group, the invite list or a Raid Groups layout.
    • "Demon Hunter" and "Death Knight" are one class everywhere.
    • An assignment line naming your class counts as yours.
    • The note windows no longer show outside a raid by default.

  • Fixes: the Raid Groups name picker opens in front, and the ready check consumables bar draws on top.

1.1.1 (2026-10-21)

  • Gear Checker (new page): every raider's gear, gems, enchants and upgrade tracks, with filters, issue tooltips and a right-click to send issues to chat. Pop it out into its own window.
  • Alert timeline (new alert area): icons slide down a line to a NOW effect, with many look options. Standalone by default, or add your alerts to the game's boss timeline, or replace it.
  • Alerts: every alert takes its ability's type colour (custom colours behind a checkbox), bars name the type, and bars get spacing and border settings.
  • One source for boss timers: Mech Alerts, the Timeline, rehearsals and alerts all use the same casts. Mech Alerts lists the timeline's abilities in their type colours.
  • Rehearsal: one continuous countdown from Next up to the cast bar, with up to three cast bars.
  • Raid Notes: notes show rendered with class-coloured names and spell icons (click to edit the raw text), and a pop-out editor to drag names onto assignment lines and the invite list.
  • Loot Master: the raider popup looks like the game's loot roll frame; the gear column shows your full equipped items.
  • Debuffs: shown everywhere, a new icon look, a muted swipe, and grow left or right.
  • Ready Check: your bar sits under the game's ready check window; Close for the raid leader only.
  • Themes: one heading, good, warning and bad colour per theme, themed scroll bars and a menu divider.

1.1.0 (2026-10-20)

  • CRT Looting passes for real: while it's on, raiders' boss rolls are passed as soon as the loot window shows, and chat says what happened.
  • The raid leader's CRT rolls Need (or Greed or Transmog) and a Boss loot window lists each item and who won it; tick the items and click Start session.
  • Loot Master: choose where item tooltips open (Item tooltip on the Settings tab).
  • The Timeline pop-out uses the game's window art in Default: Blizzard, and the clicked window comes to the front.

1.0.0 (2026-10-20)

  • Quality of Life: a low-health banner.
  • Looks: four themes from the title bar (Default: Blizzard, Blackout: Midnight, Blackout: Nitro and Beanworks: Cowfee), with modern sliders, checkboxes and help icons.
