Copper Compass

**Copper Compass** is a calm companion for **World of Warcraft: Forever**. It shows what you should not forget right now - and stays quiet otherwise.

 

Copper Compass never moves your character, fights, accepts quests or uses items for you.

 

## Features

 

- **Today** - up to four prioritized hints and a "next up" list: missing pre-quests, XP food, repairs and bag space, quests to turn in, your own reminders. Snooze any hint for 10 minutes, until your next level or for good.

- **Class quests and special quest chains** - the next step of your class quests (Warrior stances and Whirlwind weapon, Druid forms, Shaman totems, Warlock demons and mounts, Hunter pet, Paladin quests and mounts, Rogue poisons) and of special chains such as Zul'Farrak and Gahz'rilla, Morbent Fel and the Shadowforge Key - for your race and faction, three levels ahead, with an arrow to the quest giver. Ignore any chain you do not want to follow.

- **Unspent points** - a hint when you have unspent talent points or unspent Legacy points.

- **XP food and sleeping bag overlay** - a small, movable display: XP food active with remaining time, expiring soon, missing while matching food is in your bags, or none; Well-Rested stacks and time, ready or cooldown once you own the Cozy Sleeping Bag. Lock it to make it click-through.

- **Dungeon preparation** - 15 dungeons from Ragefire Chasm to Uldaman, including the new Forever dungeons (Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site: Wetlands, City of Dalaran). Quests for your faction, class and race with live status from your quest log, missing pre-quests, start and turn-in locations, and a ready check (durability, bags, quest log). Level ranges follow the in-game group finder. Shows "7/7" in green when you have everything. Every dungeon is shown with its loading screen picture from the game.

- **World map quest pins** - "Show on map" places glowing pins for quest givers, pre-quests and turn-ins of a dungeon on the world map.

- **Dungeon maps** - all floors of the classic dungeons, using the map art that ships with the game.

- **Dungeon entrances on the world map** - the game's dungeon icon at each entrance. Hover for name, level range and your quest status; click to open the dungeon.

- **Flight points on the world map** - every flight point of your faction plus neutral ones on the zone map, with the flight master boot icon. Undiscovered ones are greyed out (learned when you talk to a flight master).

- **Navigation arrow** - like TomTom: points to your map waypoint, tracked quest or any quest you click in Copper Compass and shows the distance. For long trips it tells you which flight point, zeppelin or ship to take. Light on memory, smooth while turning.

- **Boss loot atlas** - boss drops, trash drops and quest rewards kept apart, each boss collapsible; search by name or item ID; filters for slot, usable items, recipes and your wishlist.

- **English and German** - German is used automatically on German clients.

 

## Commands

 

- `/cc` - open or close the window (also via the minimap button)

- `/cc way <x> <y> [name]` - set an arrow target, `/cc way clear` - remove it, `/cc arrow` - show/hide the arrow

- `/cc lock` / `/cc unlock` - lock or unlock the overlay

- `/cc diag` - short report for bug reports

 

## Notes

 

Game data was collected on the Forever beta and is marked as beta until it is verified on live servers. Dungeon entrances that have not been checked in game are marked as unconfirmed in their tooltip. The game hides player positions inside dungeons, so the dungeon maps have no "you are here" marker.
