A lightweight UI utility designed for both Retail and TBC Anniversary/Classic clients. It addresses the common frustration of "button mashing" a spell that is still on cooldown by providing immediate, high-visibility feedback
Stop guessing when your spell will be ready.
Press an ability while it’s still on cooldown, and Cooldown Alert briefly flashes the time remaining on your screen. The number counts down live, giving you a quick answer without adding another permanent timer to your UI.
Cooldown Alert only appears when a cast fails because the ability isn’t ready. It filters out the global cooldown, so normal casts won’t fill your screen with alerts. The countdown uses high-contrast, outlined text that’s easy to spot in combat, then smoothly fades away.
