Cooldown Manager Extended - CDMx

CDMx picks up where Blizzard's Cooldown Manager leaves off. It automatically displays your keybinds on Essential and Utility cooldown icons, gives you a dedicated trinket bar, and lets you build custom tracking bars for any spells or items on your action bars.

## Lightweight & Efficient

CDMx is built to be minimal. The entire addon runs at roughly **~280 KB of memory** — a fraction of what most cooldown addons use. No bloat, no background polling loops, no features you'll never touch. Event-driven updates mean it only does work when something actually changes.

## What It Does

### Hotkey Display
CDMx scans your action bars and displays the matching keybind on every cooldown icon that appears in Blizzard's Essential and Utility viewers. No setup needed — install and go.

### Trinket Bar
A dedicated bar for your equipped trinkets that auto-detects swaps and shows cooldowns with hotkeys. Show it always, in combat only, or out of combat only.

### Custom Tracking Bars
Create your own bars to track offensive cooldowns, consumables, potions, or anything else. An item picker scans your action bars so you just check what you want to track — no spell IDs to look up.

### Edit Mode Integration
All CDMx bars integrate with WoW's built-in Edit Mode. Open Edit Mode, drag the green CDMx movers into position, close Edit Mode. Done.

### Full GUI Configuration
Everything is configurable through a clean settings panel (ESC → Interface → AddOns → CDMx). Dark collapsible sections, custom sliders, no slash commands needed.

## Quick Start

1. Install CDMx — hotkeys appear on Blizzard's cooldown bars automatically
2. Open settings: **ESC → Interface → AddOns → CDMx**
3. Expand **Trinket Bar** to enable/configure your trinket tracking
4. Expand **Custom Bars** → **+ Add New Bar** → `/reload` → **Edit Items** to pick what to track
5. Open **Edit Mode** to position everything where you want it

## Settings Overview

**General**: Hotkey toggle, position (top-left, top-right, etc.), font outline, X/Y offset

**Blizzard Cooldowns**: Separate font sizes for Essential and Utility bars, border and icon style options

**Trinket Bar**: Enable/disable, visibility mode, layout direction, icon size, spacing, font size, icon style

**Custom Bars**: Create/delete bars, per-bar icon size, spacing, font size, layout, visibility, item selection

**Utilities**: Quick buttons for Edit Mode, hotkey rescan, and UI reload

## Compatibility

- Works alongside **ElvUI**, **Bartender4**, **Dominos**, or **Blizzard default** action bars
- Optional **Masque** support for icon skinning
- Requires WoW **The War Within (11.0+)** or **Midnight (12.0+)**
- No dependencies — fully standalone

## Known Limitations

- Custom bar slot/item changes require `/reload`
- Hotkey detection requires the ability to be on one of your action bars
- Border and icon style changes require `/reload`
- Settings are currently shared across all characters (no profiles yet)
