Community Milestones

Show off your progress to your friends — automatically. Community Milestones posts your character's milestones to your guild chat and any WoW Community channels you choose, so your crew sees them no matter which guild each of you is in.

What gets posted

• Level ups — Shadow Ima reached level 25!
• Boss kills in dungeons and raids — Shadow Ima, Mia Moonfall and Zed defeated Onyxia in Onyxia's Lair!
• Legacy Challenges, with the Legacy points they award — Shadow Ima completed the Legacy Challenge Conqueror of the Lair (+2 Legacy points)!
• Professions learned — Shadow Ima learned Herbalism!
• Profession ranks (Journeyman, Expert, Artisan) — Shadow Ima is now an Expert in Tailoring!

Full WoW Forever names (first name and surname) are used in every message.

When several people in a group have the addon and post to the same channel, a boss kill is posted once, naming everyone, instead of once per player.

Setup

Out of the box, milestones go to your guild chat, or to your first Community channel if you're not in a guild. You can post to guild chat and as many Community channels as you like at the same time:

1. Type /cm list to see guild chat and your Community channels, and which ones you post to.
2. Type /cm sub <number> (or /cm sub guild) to start posting there, /cm unsub <number> (or /cm unsub guild) to stop.
3. Type /cm test to check it works.

Commands

Good to know

• WoW only lets addons post to Communities right after you press a key or click, so a message goes out on your next key press (usually within a second).
• A Legacy Challenge is posted only the first time your account completes it, when it awards Legacy points.
• Professions your character already knew when the addon was first installed aren't announced.
