A bilingual PvE decision assistant for Combat Rogues in WoW TBC Anniversary.

CombatMentor watches your current combat state and recommends what to press now and what is likely to come next. It is designed to teach the reasoning behind the rotation without playing the character for you: the addon never casts abilities or automates combat.

• Interrupt recommendations with Kick availability and cast detection.
• Defensive recommendations such as Evasion and Vanish when appropriate.
• Cleave awareness for nearby enemies when enemy nameplates are enabled.
• Beginner mode with explanations and Expert mode with the same rotation but less guidance.
• Context-aware layouts for world content, dungeons, raids, and bosses.
• English and Spanish localization.
• Built-in status, history, test, and diagnostic export tools.

Supported scope

CombatMentor currently supports Combat Rogue PvE on WoW TBC Anniversary 2.5.6, including world content, dungeons, and raids.

It does not currently support Assassination, Subtlety, PvP rotations, other classes, or encounter-specific boss mechanics. Cleave detection requires enemy nameplates. Keybind display reads Blizzard action bars and macros.

Profiles

• Auto: selects the appropriate supported profile from the current context.
• Standard: normal Combat Rogue PvE priority.
• IEA: maintains Improved Expose Armor for groups that assign it to the Rogue.

Commands

• /cm — open settings.
• /cm help — show available commands.
• /cm status — show the active configuration and detected context.
• /cm test — run the built-in display test.
• /cm export — copy a diagnostic report for bug reports.

Installation

1. Extract the downloaded ZIP into your WoW Interface/AddOns folder.
2. Confirm that the final path is Interface/AddOns/CombatMentor/CombatMentor.toc.
3. Enable CombatMentor from the AddOns screen.
4. Enter the world and use /cm to configure it.

Beta feedback

When reporting an issue, include your content type, selected profile, language, talents, weapons, poisons, target type, and the output from /cm export. A short description of what was recommended and what you expected is especially helpful.
