Live Seed Pipeline (Battle.net Integration)

This update introduces a fully automated, API-driven seed pipeline, replacing static/manual data with live Battle.net data ingestion and a unified seed architecture.

Battle.net seed pipeline

  • New fetch_bnet_seed.py script using OAuth client-credentials flow
  • Fetches live spec metadata and PvP talent data from Blizzard APIs
  • Parallelized fetching with configurable worker pool
  • Raw responses cached for offline reuse and inspection

Spec metadata seed (SeedSpecMeta.lua)

  • All 40 specs seeded with:
    • Official spec names and roles (DAMAGE / HEALER / TANK)
    • Class IDs and classFile identifiers
    • iconFileDataId for UI fallback icon resolution
  • Accessible via StaticPvpData.GetSpecMeta(specId)

PvP talents seed (SeedPvpTalents.lua)

  • ~400+ PvP talents fully mapped per spec
  • Includes:
    • spellId, name, full description
    • Cast time and slot compatibility
  • Integrates with C_Spell.GetSpellInfo for runtime icon lookup
  • Accessible via StaticPvpData.GetPvpTalentsForSpec(specId)

Static data integration

  • StaticPvpData.lua extended with:
    • SPEC_META
    • PVP_TALENTS
  • New accessor APIs for runtime consumption

Repository structure refactor

  • Unified seed directory:
