Description
No Dungeon Finder? No problem. Cold Caller helps you put groups together the way Classic was meant to be played — by talking to people. Tell it the classes and level range you're after, and it runs /who for you, lists the players it finds, and lets you whisper each one with a single click. It remembers everyone you've already messaged, so you never pester the same person twice.
Built for Classic Era and Hardcore.
Features
- Pick the classes you want with simple checkboxes — tank, healer, whatever your group is missing
- Set a min/max level range to match your dungeon
- Write your whisper message once and reuse it
- One-click whisper to any player in the results
- Tracks who you've contacted and greys them out automatically
- "Hide messaged" toggle to keep the list focused on fresh faces
- Refresh any time to pull in players who just logged on
- Saves everything between sessions — your classes, level range, message, and contact history
- Clear button to wipe the slate and start a fresh session
How to use
- Open the window with
/cc(or/coldcall) - Tick the classes you're looking for and set your level range
- Type the message you want to send
- Hit Refresh /who to search
- Click Whisper next to anyone you'd like to invite
Slash commands
/cc,/coldcall,/coldcaller— toggle the window
Good to know
/whoreturns up to ~49 players at a time, so a tighter level range gives you a fuller, more useful list — ideal for targeting a specific dungeon bracket (e.g. 22–26 for Scarlet Monastery).- Whispers are only ever sent when you click one — nothing is automated, so you stay in control and clear of chat spam limits.
- On Hardcore, a whisper that names the dungeon and your plan tends to get a warmer response than a bare "inv?".
