Ever recast Rejuvenation, Corruption or Rip while the old one still had seconds left? That's a clip: the new cast overwrites the remaining time, and you throw away ticks along with the mana or energy you spent. Clipguard shows you when a recast is actually worth it.
What it does
- While your HoT, DoT or bleed on the target still has time left, the matching action button turns red and/or greyed out with a countdown.
- When it's worth recasting, the button goes back to normal and glows green.
- If you recast too early anyway, you get an on-screen warning such as "Clipped Rejuvenation – 4.2s wasted", with an optional sound.
/cg statsshows how many times you clipped this session and how many seconds you wasted.

Good to know
- Safe: Clipguard never touches your action buttons. It only draws on top of them. No addon can block, cancel or delay a spell, so Clipguard warns you and leaves the decision to you.
- In combat: WoW Forever hides exact aura timers from addons during combat. The red overlay, countdown, glow and warning text still work. The clip sound and stats counter only count refreshes the addon can measure, which is mostly out of combat.
