Your raid buffs. One click.

ClickNBuff helps Mages, Druids and Priests apply missing class buffs in World of Warcraft Classic Era dungeons and raids. Up to five compact, frameless icons show eligible targets or subgroup recommendations, with a tooltip identifying the target and available spells.

Left-click an icon to cast its single-target buff. Right-click to cast the matching group buff if you have learned it. Each cast requires your click.

Features

• Supported caster classes: Mage, Druid and Priest.
• Compact display: Up to five icons at once. Further actions appear as the addon rescans after buffs are applied.
• Single and group buffs: Left-click for a single-target buff; right-click for the learned group version on the target’s subgroup.
• Subgroup recommendations: When at least three eligible members of a five-player subgroup lack a buff and you know its group version, the addon recommends a group buff using an in-range target.
• Range-aware selection: Outside combat, recommendations require a positive spell-range check. Offline, dead and otherwise ineligible targets are excluded.
• Existing buff recognition: Supported single and group versions are recognized regardless of who cast them.
• Instance-only display: Normal display and movement mode are available only inside dungeon and raid instances.
• Customizable categories and size: Enable or disable your class’s buff categories, adjust scale and move the display using the purple dot.

Supported Buffs

Only learned spells are offered. “Mana classes” refers to Mage, Priest, Warlock, Druid, Hunter, Paladin and Shaman; it is based on class, not the target’s current resource bar.

Quick Start

1. Install the ClickNBuff folder in _classic_era_/Interface/AddOns/, with ClickNBuff.toc directly inside it.
2. Log in on a Mage, Druid or Priest and enter a dungeon or raid instance.
3. Outside combat, use /cnb move and drag the purple dot to position the display. Use /cnb lock to end movement mode.
4. Hover over an icon to check the target. Left-click for the single buff or right-click for the learned group buff.
5. Use the category commands below to disable or re-enable individual buff types. Use /cnb status if no icons appear.

Commands

/clicknbuff is an alias for /cnb. Legacy /cni and /clicknint aliases are also registered in version 1.0.0.

Category commands apply only when that category is available to your class and its spell is learned.

Compatibility

• Designed for WoW Classic Era 1.15.9, interface 11509. The submitted file is tagged for 1.15.7–1.15.9; this is not a statement that every version has been live-tested.
• Supports Mage, Druid and Priest as buffing classes. Paladin buff casting is not included.
• No required external addon is declared.
• Spell names are resolved from the client; helper messages and tooltip instructions currently contain German text.
• Combat limitation: Secure buttons are not dynamically reassigned, shown or hidden during combat. Previously displayed icons can remain until combat ends, so their recommendations may no longer reflect current buffs or range.
• Mana, line of sight, learned spells and any required reagents still determine whether a cast succeeds. A range check is not a guarantee of a successful cast.

FAQ

Why do I see nothing in town?
The addon is restricted to dungeon and raid instances. This also applies to the movement dot shown by /cnb move.

Why are there no icons inside an instance?
Check that the addon is enabled, your class is supported, the relevant spell is learned and its category is enabled. No recommendation is shown when eligible targets are already buffed or a positive range check is unavailable. Check outside combat, when the display can refresh.

Does right-click buff the entire raid?
It casts the learned group spell on the selected target’s five-player subgroup, subject to normal spell rules. It does not buff all raid groups with one click.

Why does the display stop changing in combat?
WoW prevents dynamic reconfiguration of secure action buttons during combat. The addon refreshes after combat ends.

Is this the old ClickNBuff consumable addon?
No. The former consumable addon is now ClickNConsume. This ClickNBuff is the separate party and raid buff helper. Do not import the old consumable addon’s settings into it.

Will my old ClickNInt settings transfer automatically?
Back up your settings before switching. Version 1.0.0 can copy an already-loaded ClickNIntDB when no ClickNBuffDB exists, but its TOC does not declare the old variable or require the old addon to load first. Automatic transfer is therefore not guaranteed; keep the backup and check your position and settings after installation.
