CleanseAssist

CleanseAssist is a lightweight and customizable dispel assistant for World of Warcraft Retail / Midnight 12.1+, designed for dungeons, raids, Delves and open-world content.

It helps you quickly identify removable debuffs on group members and provides convenient clickable dispel icons for supported single-target cleansing abilities.

CleanseAssist is designed around Blizzard's modern secure-action and protected aura systems and does not attempt to bypass protected gameplay restrictions.

Easy-to-see dispels

CleanseAssist displays supported removable debuffs directly on your group members.

Depending on your class, specialization, talents and available abilities, CleanseAssist supports:

Magic • Poison • Disease • Curse • Bleed

Not every class can remove every debuff type. CleanseAssist automatically detects the cleansing abilities currently available to your character.

Special abilities are handled separately where necessary and are not necessarily bound to the normal single-target unit buttons.

No manual language selection is required.

Configuration

Open the configuration using the CleanseAssist minimap button or type:

/ca config

The settings window includes a live preview and allows you to customize layout, icon size, spacing, glow strength, class-colored borders, role indicators, priorities and overlay positions.

Additional commands:

/ca spells — shows detected cleansing abilities
/ca debug — displays diagnostic information
/ca clicktest — creates a cleanse click test
/ca lock — locks the frame position
/ca unlock — enables positioning
/ca reset — resets position and layout

Built for modern World of Warcraft

CleanseAssist is designed around the restrictions of the modern WoW aura and secure-action systems.

It uses Blizzard-supported secure actions for clickable cleansing abilities and does not attempt to bypass protected or secret aura information.

Because of these restrictions, some special abilities are intentionally implemented differently. For example, Mass Dispel is provided as a reminder rather than an automatically targeted clickable cleanse.
